Cruz, 38, told Spanish TV channel TVD that she is indeed pregnant and will not be able to attend the Goya Awards on February 17.
The “To Rome With Love” actress said she is “tremendously happy and excited” about the news. Cruz and Bardem, 43, welcomed their first son, Leo, in January 2011. The notoriously private couple has kept Leo out of the spotlight, so don't expect Cruz and Bardem to show off their latest bundle of joy in all the tabloids either.
Reports initially surfaced in early February that the Cruz was around three-months-pregnant. The actress is doubly overjoyed because her sister, Monica Cruz, is also pregnant via artificial insemination.
The “Skyfall” actor wed Cruz in summer 2010.
