Minka Kelly and Olivia Munn on February 18

What better way to mark an 85th birthday than with a pack of pretty young things?

That's how Hollywood spent Monday night, ringing in the road to the 85th annual Academy Awards.

After 2012 saw the 20th anniversary of Vanity Fair magazine's "Vanities" feature, a visual buffet of beauties that have promise in spades, where to go from there?

Olivia Munn, Minka Kelly, Eva Longoria, Kate Mara, Jamie King, Katheryn Winnick, and more shuffled to Chateau Marmont's Bungalow 1 for the Campaign Hollywood kickoff, thrown by Juicy Couture.

Although it was a girls' night out for Kelly, the former "Friday Night Lights" beauty is still very much together with her "Captain America" beau, Chris Evans.

Guests sipped on white wine and champagne, while the daring gave into temptation and ate some of the sliders that were being passed around on silver trays. Tunes were provided by D.J. Ms. Nix who spun inside the bungalow. For the stars or industry types feeling goofy, there was a photo booth outside in the pool area that had many guests entertained.

"I would never," winked Munn to omg! when we asked her choice for one of Oscar's most debated prizes: Best Actress.

We can't blame her – as trophies have been handed to "Silver Linings Playbook" star Jennifer Lawrence, "Zero Dark Thirty" lead Jessica Chastain, and dark horse Emmanuelle Riva for "Amour," it's a wide margin.

Placing bets took a back seat as folks like Russell Simmons and Estella Warren roamed the private pool area, looking on at Munn's supporting "Newsroom" players like Terry Crews.

Folks filed out slowly, many missing a nearly makeup-free Brooklyn Decker mingling with a solo Kelly.

Likely good advice, it's a short walk to the Oscar podium but a long road to Sunday.

Monday's soiree was thrown by Vanity Fair West Coast Editor Krista Smith and Munn in support of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
