Pop superstar Miley Cyrus is baring it all yet again. The singer is gracing the cover of W magazine's March 2014 issue completely stripped down and looking not much like herself. If you can't recognize her and needed to do a double take, you are not alone. Aside from showing off her body, she is also sporting bleached brows, longer bleached blond hair extensions, and tons of jewelry. But cover model isn't the only role she's playing in the mag; she also sat down with Ronan Farrow, the son of Mia Farrow, and spoke openly about her career, criticism, and her very strong message for young girls.
"Everyone to me seems like Vanna White. I'm trying to tell girls, like, 'F--- that,'" the "Bangerz" singer told the mag. "You don't have to wear makeup. You don't have to have long blond hair. … That's not what it's about. It's, like, personal style. I like that I'm associated with sexuality and the kind of punk-rock s--- where we just don't care. Like Madonna or Blondie or Joan Jett."
While the 21-year-old has recently gotten a lot of attention for her style, she also has never been shy about speaking her mind. Just within the past year she has made headlines for her many scandalous music videos and has faced criticism for her onstage performances. One of those was at the 2013 MTV VMAs with Robin Thicke, where she faced judgment not only for her dancing and outfits but also for her choice of background dancers.
"I'm not Disney, where they have, like, an Asian girl, a black girl, and a white girl, to be politically correct, and, like, everyone has bright-colored T-shirts," she said during the W interview. "You know, it's like, I'm not making any kind of statement. Anyone that hates on you is always below you, because they're just jealous of what you have."
