The "Big Bang Theory" actress finalized her divorce from Michael Stone earlier this month. According to Los Angeles Superior Court records, she and her husband of nine years reached a stipulated judgment ― which means they agree to all the terms, including custody of their two sons, Miles, 7 and Fred, 4 ― on May 1. They are just waiting for the mandatory six-month waiting period to elapse and that will be on June 6.
A spokesperson for the 37-year-old year star has not responded to omg!'s request for comment.
Bialik initially filed for divorce on November 21, citing "irreconcilable differences." The same day, she blogged about her difficult decision on kveller.com and noted, "The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible."
While married, the one-time child star in TV's "Blossom," who went on to receive a PhD in neuroscience before returning to the small screen, shared details of her unconventional home life with the public in her 2012 book "Beyond the Sling: A Real-Life Guide to Raising Confident, Loving Children the Attachment Parenting Way." She's been an advocate for attachment parenting and breast-feeding as well as co-sleeping, sharing details about how she and Stone slept in a big family bed with their boys. Stone, who she met as a student at UCLA, was a stay-at-home dad.
Since she announced their split, Bialik has been detailing some of her adventures as a single mom on her blog, including a recent dinner out with her sons. The funny post talked about how she was standing outside the restroom waiting for one son while keeping an eye on another, who was across the restaurant at their table. She concluded the post with two simple words, "I'm exhausted."
