In a business where women are more apt to augment than reduce, Marie Osmond made a very large personal confession on "The Talk" on Monday.
"I had a breast reduction," the one-time "Donny and Marie" variety show star, who grew up in showbiz’s most famous Mormon family, revealed. "I was my mother’s daughter. I was like, 20 something [years old]."

Marie, 54, said before she decided to reduce her breast size, it it was her chest that was receiving all the press. And as an up-and-coming actress, that wasn't the trajectory she wanted her career to take.
"I had very large breasts," she stressed. "When I did 'The Sound of Music,' all they did was talk about the hills were alive! That’s all they saw were my boobs."
The surgery wasn’t just for vanity purposes though. Osmond said her large breasts were also causing her pain.
"I was like an E cup," she revealed of the one-time size of her ample bosom. "Seriously, women can get so big and you look like human zippers. And honestly, I did it too because my back hurt. I don’t get the big boob thing."
Marie’s not the only Hollywood starlet to make the choice to reduce. Queen Latifah, Janeane Garofalo, Patricia Heaton, and Denise Richards have all copped to lessening their cup sizes.
And just last week Life & Style claimed "America's Got Talent" judge Mel B recently underwent a breast reduction.
