Liberty Ross's world was flipped upside down in July 2012 when photos surfaced of her husband, director Rupert Sanders, kissing her "Snow White and the Huntsman" co-star Kristen Stewart. Now, the stunning 35-year-old British model is speaking out for the first time about Rupert's infidelity in a candid interview in the December issue of Vanity Fair. "It was horrible," Liberty tells the magazine. "It was really the worst, really the worst."
"Omg! Insider" sat down with Vanity Fair's Contributing Editor Evgenia Peretz, who gave us all the details of Liberty's tell-all interview, including her revelation about how she found out about his indiscretions before the paparazzi photos went viral. "She said she found out about the pictures 20 hours before they hit the Internet," Evgenia shared. "She was warned by him, but it was also the first time she was finding out about the affair itself."
And Liberty quickly went into action after learning the devastating news. Evgenia reveals, "She called her brother right after she found out. He's a member of Nine Inch Nails, and he called Jimmy Iovine who's a record producer that Nine Inch Nails had worked with, and he provided her with his personal PR woman … who kind of took care of her, gave her a house to go to where she could hide out with her kids in the wake of the media circus."
After the cheating scandal, Rupert issued a public apology and wanted to reconcile, but Liberty said for her, the marriage was over. But in spite of everything, she forgives her soon-to-be ex-husband. She told the mag, "We were together for 16 years, and that in itself is really beautiful. And we've created two exceptional lives together."
