Men weren't the only ones wearing pants at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night! Some of Hollywood's biggest female stars also took to the red carpet in edgy, pantsuit ensembles that surely thumbed their noses at the establishment right on theme.
Kristen Stewart took punk to a whole new level, sporting a sassy maroon silk Stella McCartney pant suit, while "Vampire Diaries" babe Nina Dobrev turned heads by dressing up her Monique Lhullier slacks with a corset top and tulle skirt. "Mad Men" actress Jessica Paré took her androgynous look straight from the runway, wearing a Jason Wu royal blue structured top and black tuxedo pants.
No question, these ladies all looked incredible, but do you think it's appropriate to wear pants to a black tie event? Sound off in the comments!
Check out this video to see which Sports Illustrated model also rocked the pants suit trend on fashion's biggest night. For more coverage from the gala, tune in to “omg! Insider” on TV tonight!
