Reality star and fashion designer Kristin Cavallari revealed on Fox Business last week that she and her husband, Jay Cutler, will not vaccinate their 1-year-old son, Camden Jack. The host of "The Fabulist" is expecting her second child and appeared on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Tuesday defending her decision.
"At the end of the day, I'm just a mom, and I'm trying to make the best decision for my kid, Kristin said. "There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines and what they cause: asthma, allergies, ear infections, all kinds of things. We think that we're making the best decision for our kids."
Kristin isn't the only celebrity who is against who has a passionate stance on vaccination. Jenny McCarthy has been very vocal about linking the cause of autism to vaccines. In 2008, "The View" host marched in Washington, D.C., to promote greener vaccines, and she also explained her stance to "American Morning" on CNN.
"Without a doubt in my mind, I believe that vaccinations triggered Evan's autism. We do believe because we were the witness with our child," McCarthy said.
