By now, everyone knows Robbie Novak, the adorable third grader at East Chester Elementary School in New York who won America’s heart with his inspiring videos as Kid President of the United States. As a result, the young student was able to enlist a pretty big star to help him get his message across.
On Monday, Robbie recruited Beyoncé to help him celebrate World Humanitarian Day, which the United Nation holds annually to honor aid workers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
The 10-year-old got right down to business asking Queen Bey why World Humanitarian Day is so important. The singer replied, "I think it's so important for us to take some time and be unselfish and have compassion, because we really can impact the world.”
And it looks like Robbie had a major impact on Beyoncé! Before the interview concluded, Kid President asked the superstar, "Are we best friends?" Her reply? "Only if I get a kiss on my cheek. Come on, Kid President!" Robbie happily obliged.
