John Travolta will reportedly not have to publicly fight the latest allegation of assault leveled against him.

Fabian Zanzi, an cruise ship attendant for Royal Caribbean, filed a lawsuit against Travolta stemming from a trip in June 2009. Zanzi claimed that while giving Travolta a neck massage the “Hairspray” actor allegedly disrobed, exposed himself and then "forcefully embraced" him.

On Monday, both parties agreed to drop the case, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Neither side was available to discuss how the dismissal came to be. This decision may seem sudden since just last Friday a judge rejected Travolta’s request to have the case thrown in arbitration, which would have kept litigations private.

Travolta has strongly denied Zanzi’s allegations, giving the following sworn statement:

"While I was indeed a passenger aboard the MS Enchantment of the Seas in or about June 2009, Mr. Zanzi's allegations in the Complaint are entirely false, including... a purported physical encounter with me and his allegations... regarding an alleged financial offer I made him. None of these events happened, and Zanzi's allegations are pure fabrication."

Zanzi is not the first man to come forward with allegations against the “Pulp Fiction” star. A handful of male masseurs filed federal suits last year, all of which Travolta's high-powered attorney Marty Singer have called “absurd and ridiculous.”
