Airline travel with kids is no joke, so Angelina Jolie certainly had her hands full Wednesday as she navigated Los Angeles International Airport with all six of her kids, and no fiancé (Brad Pitt) in sight.

Rarely are we treated to photos of the couple's entire brood all at once — usually it's a handful of Jolie-Pitts here, a handful there — but here they all are in one cute cluster.

The 38-year-old, who was dressed in all black, led her brood through the airport in a slightly disjointed daisy chain. Eldest son Maddox walked by Jolie's side looking way older than his 12 years in a knit cap and cool shades. Pax, 9, wore his favorite striped sweatshirt, pulled up over his head, and clutched his prized purple bear from Legoland. Zahara, 8, rocked her one of her typical girly-girl looks (we love that all her nails are painted different colors), and tomboy Shiloh, 7, sported a Star Wars T-shirt. Twins Knox and Vivienne, who we can't believe are 5, were the most dressed up of the group. He had on a suit and shiny loafers (!) while she was dressed in all black with a shimmery beaded jacket.

The group is headed Down Under for an extended stay. Jolie will be directing her second film, "Unbroken" — which is based on the New York Times bestselling book "Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption" about Olympic track star and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini — in Australia. In July, Jolie brought Pax with her on a location-scouting trip for the movie, which included a stop in Hawaii.

Despite the family's globe-trotting lifestyle, Jolie has said they are big on routines at home.

"We actually have family dinner every night. We make a point of it," Jolie, who underwent a double mastectomy earlier this year, told Anderson Cooper in 2011. "There's a good five minutes where everybody is quiet and sitting together and then it starts to break off."

And when it comes to travel, the kids are old pros.

"They each have their own luggage and they unpack their own clothes and pack their own," she said. "It was just getting too confusing for me to figure out, but it's great. It's so much fun."

Knowing that they pack their own suitcases is certainly impressive, but seeing her wrangle all six of them through a busy airport — with paparazzi and gawkers looking on — proves she's a total supermom.
