One might think that Tinseltown's hottest stars are easily recognizable, but that's not always the case.
Matt Damon did a Reddit Q&A session on Thursday and revealed that he actually gets mistaken for another celeb quite often.
When "The Monuments Men" actor, 43, was asked whether or not fans ever confuse him with Channing Tatum, he said, "I don't think I've ever been confused with Channing. I do get confused with Mark Wahlberg a lot, and we just have a deal that whenever we get mistaken for each other we have to be very polite."
So when was the last time someone confused Damon for the "Lone Survivor" actor? Turns out, it was the day before his Reddit AMA.
"I was walking down the street with my kids, and this guy screamed 'MARK WAHLBERG!'" he wrote. "I just kept walking, because I'm not Mark, and he kept screaming 'MARK WAHLBERG! I SEE YOU! DON'T WALK AWAY! MARK WAHLBERG! WE KNOW IT'S YOU!' and then he runs up to me and he says, 'I love your work!'"
Though they're not exactly twins, it doesn't come as a surprise that fans could mix up the two actors since they are both in their 40s, from the Boston area, and easy on the eyes.
Damon and Wahlberg have appeared in dozens of films separately, but they've only shared the big screen once in the 2005 film "The Departed."
