It's a Boy for 'Basketball Wives' Star Evelyn Lozada

Evelyn Lozada gave birth to her own little shortstop on Saturday morning.

The "Basketball Wives" reality star, 38, and her fiancé, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford, welcomed a son at 3:55 a.m. with a natural birth, "The Insider With Yahoo" has learned. He weighed in at a healthy 8 pounds and measured 21 inches long.

“I'm literally on cloud nine! My baby boy is so handsome and I'm so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking," Lozada told "The Insider's" Nina Parker, adding, "Thank God he came out quick.

The happy couple were surrounded by many of their loved ones for the occasion, including Crawford's family, Lozada's daughter Shaniece, sisters, and nieces.

When Lozada first announced her pregnancy, she remained mum about who the child's father was, but later divulged her romance – and future plans – with Crawford to "The Insider."

"I definitely would get married again," she said in November. "I still believe in love … I'm not one of those people that's like 'we need to get engaged, we need to get married.' No, absolutely not. I feel like that's going to come, just like with the baby, let it come. I'm not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens."

The pair got engaged in December when Crawford, 32, popped the question with a 14.5-carat diamond ring was custom made for her by Jason Arasheben from Jason's of Beverly Hills.

Lozada was married briefly to NFL star Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, but the relationship ended in August 2012 with a domestic violence incident.
