Drew Barrymore isn't stressing about putting on the baby weight.
The 38-year-old star caught up with "The Insider" co-anchor Thea Andrews at Godiva in Century City, Calif., and opened up about why she won't be watching the scale during these nine months. She told Thea, "It's like, you're pregnant don't be worried about it. Just be healthy and take good care of yourself. Strike a balance but enjoy food. This is the time."
Is Drew worried about getting her bikini body back after she gives birth? She joked, "Heck no! Bikini before baby was nothing to write home about. I'm not concerned. It's not my thing. I have many other fish to fry. I have like talents in other areas. It's never been wearing a bikini. Actually, when I'm pregnant, I have like a flatter stomach than normal. It's tight!"
And unlike many of her peers, Drew says she will take her time getting back in shape, just as she did after she gave birth to her little girl, Olive. "You get it back. I got it back last time." She added, "I gave myself at least the nine months it took to build. No crash. No speed diet. Nothing silly. Just slow and steady wins the race."
