Hemi Friday after the vet (Facebook)
Over a month after the 42-year-old "The Bourne Legacy" star's adorable French bulldog Hemi went missing in Los Angeles, the pup has been found.
"This is the post we KNEW would happen, and that all of YOU believed in," said an update Friday on the Facebook page for the missing animal.
"We can all rest knowing that HEMI IS BACK WHERE HE BELONGS! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIRELESS HELP, SUPPORT AND FAITH!"

So, Kristoffer and his mom, Valerie (along with Digby, another family dog), drove up to Visalia Thursday night to retrieve Hemi at the woman's house. The meeting was very brief and Valerie called to Hemi through the fence. He immediately put his paws up on the fence to greet her, and when Digby saw him, the two went crazy with happiness! Kristoffer scooped Hemi right up and got him in the car, and they drove home.
He has gained some weight and was in need of a bath, but other than that, appears to be just fine. He's now safe and home!
The star's dog slipped out the front gate of his home near L.A.'s Runyon Canyon on July 19 after it opened during a power outage. The star launched a thorough search for Hemi, including a $5,000 reward. The woman who found Hemi did not ask for the finder's fee.
The search was pressing because the animal was without its medication for a hip ailment.
This happy ending is especially sweet because Renner previously suffered some heartache over the loss of a pet. In March 2012, his other French bulldog Franklin died of a heart attack at a Little League game while in the care of a dogsitter.
