Camille Grammer Recovering After Radical Hysterectomy

Camille Grammer is one tough "Housewife."

The former Bravo star, 45, is recovering from surgery on Friday after she was diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer, which begins in the uterus.

"[She] underwent a radical hysterectomy today to treat early stage endometrial cancer," Grammer's rep Howard Bragman tells omg! in a statement. "The surgery went very well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period."

Camille has two children via surrogate with her ex-husband, former "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer.

"Ms. Grammer expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her," says Bragman. "She urges all women to be aware of genetic factors relating to women's cancers and get regular check-ups."
