Soon, Brad Pitt won't be able to toss a beer over the balcony to his neighbors in New Orleans's famous French Quarter — as he did last year with visitor Matthew McConaughey. The actor and his wife, Angelina Jolie, have put their Big Easy residence on the real estate market for $6.5 million, according to Variety.

The renovated three-story abode built in the 1830s has five bedrooms and three-and-a half bathrooms in the main house. A separate guest house features one bedroom and and one-and-a-half bathrooms. Altogether, the property includes 7,645 square feet.

Inside, the new owners will enjoy marble fireplaces; Venetian plaster walls; an elevator; spiral staircase; and probably Pitt's personal touches, considering he has a keen interest in architecture and has even designed furniture. The kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances, of course. Their yard will include a central courtyard, a small swimming pool, and two parking spaces.

Pitt, 51, and Jolie, 39, bought the home for $3.5 million back in December 2006 as the city dealt with the early fallout from Hurricane Katrina. The Fury star has done much for the city since becoming a resident, primarily founding the non-profit organization Make It Right to help build sustainable housing for communities in need, such as New Orleans's struggling Lower Ninth Ward.

Pitt and Jolie's portfolio of homes includes residences in New York, L.A., and Correns, France, among others.
