Then: Fresh-faced actor Tom Cruise, 19, was about to become a star. In this photo from 1981, he grinned while posing with Dynasty beauty Heather Locklear at the premiere of Taps , the first movie in which he had a substantial role.

Decades later, Locklear revealed to Chelsea Handler that the two met during an audition and claims they had exactly one date. "You know in Risky Business where he does that dance in his underwear and does the splits? We were dancing at a club and he went into that!" she shared of the famous scene from the 1983 flick. "He starting doing the splits."

Though Locklear didn't fall for his smooth moves, Cruise went on to romance women including his Risky Business co-star Rebecca De Mornay, Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes.

  • Channing Tatum: 'I Would've Tapped Out' During Childbirth

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 20 hrs ago

The new movie Magic Mike XXL features star Channing Tatum baring his rock-hard abs. But he showed his softer side while opening up about his wife of nearly six years, Jenna Dewan Tatum, and their 2-year-old daughter, Everly, in a new interview with Vanity Fair.

Like many other parents, the first-time dad marveled at the birthing process.

"It was crazy," Tatum, 35, said. "You feel helpless. We like to think of ourselves as big, strong men, and we could handle whatever situation. And reality is [that women] are so much stronger than we could ever be. There's a reason why we weren't given that job, evolutionary or whatever. My wife, she's a warrior. She did it as natural as you can. [As a man], you're basically a cheerleader. 'Come on, baby, you can do it.' I would've tapped out in the first."

  • Kim Kardashian Admits She's Always Had a Type, Shares Her Dad's Advice About Interracial Dating

Elizabeth Durand Streisand at Yahoo Celebrity 22 hrs ago

Just because she built an empire from a sex tape and taking selfies doesn't mean Kim Kardashian isn't like the rest of us — at least in some ways.

While taking a trip down the very colorful memory lane of her dating history (which begins long before that infamous sex tape), the 34-year-old reality TV queen admitted that, since her teens, she's had a type. (Hint: It doesn't include older men.)

"The runners at my dad's office would say, 'I can't wait until she's 18. I want to go on a date with her,'" she recalled to Rolling Stone . "I'd be like, 'Not a chance, get away.'"

But that hardly meant she wasn't interested in dating. "I've always had a boyfriend," she mused. "I loved having a boyfriend."

My father "explained to me that he's had a lot of interracial friends, and it might not be the easiest relationship," Kim shared. "He said I should prepare myself for people to say things to me."

  • Beyoncé Goes Rainbow Carnival in Support of Marriage Equality

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 23 hrs ago

Acknowledging that she's a little late to the party, Beyoncé posted an Instagram video Wednesday in celebration of the Supreme Court's ruling last Friday that same-sex marriage bans are unconstitutional. The video, set to her song "7/11" and shot in the same style as the music video, shows Bey dancing around in various rainbow-colored outfits, tossing confetti, and... lifting hand weights?

Beyoncé captioned the video, "Never Too Late #LoveWins." Her tardiness can be forgiven, seeing as she recreated an entire music video for the post.

  • Kim Kardashian 'Was Shaking' Learning Caitlyn Jenner's Secret 12 Years Before the Rest of the World

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

In her Rolling Stone cover story, out Friday, Kim Kardashian talks about seeing her stepfather dressed as a woman for the first time — 12 years ago, when she was 22.

"I'd heard a rumor when I was 11 or 12 that he was caught cross-dressing," she says. But the selfie queen didn't see it with her own eyes until 10 years later, when she accidentally walked on the then-Bruce Jenner wearing women's clothes in the family's garage.

"I was shaking," she tells the magazine. "I didn’t know if I’d just found out his deepest, darkest secret, and he was going to come after me. I grabbed my duffel bag... ran out to the car."

In her first interview where she confirmed that she was transgender, Caitlyn Jenner told Diane Sawyer that Kim, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner had all seen her in women's clothes before she told them she was trans.

  • Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Will Continue Living Together — the Hip Way of Consciously Uncoupling in Hollywood

Suzy Byrne at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may be divorcing, but they will continue to reside together — for now — to co-parent their three children.

That factoid is being reported by both People and Us Weekly magazines, making it seem like it came directly from one of their publicists. Other divorce details that are "leaking" out? They didn't have a pre-nup and they are trying to remain amicable.

  • Jim Carrey Is Not Wild About California's New Mandatory Vaccination Law

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

Jim Carrey hasn't cleansed himself entirely of Jenny McCarthy's influence, it seems, going on an epic anti-vaxxer Twitter rant Monday. Carrey was responding to a bill signed into law by California Gov. Jerry Brown which requires all schoolchildren to be vaccinated, regardless of personal belief. He made his thoughts crystal clear.

California Gov says yes to poisoning more children with mercury and aluminum in manditory vaccines. This corporate fascist must be stopped.

According to the California Department of Public Health, barely 90 percent of kindergarten students statewide had received all required immunizations in the 2014-15 school year. That means there were approximately 51,383 children running around in California (mostly clustered in wealthy enclaves like Malibu, where Carrey lived for many years) potentially spreading diseases we'd previously considered eradicated, like measles. The new law does provide some exemptions, but children who are not vaccinated will not be allowerd at public schools or daycares.

  • Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett Get Even More Mileage Out of His 'Cheating Scandal'

Suzy Byrne at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are finally speaking out about his "cheating scandal" — a transgender model claimed she had an affair with the former NFL player while Hugh Hefner's ex was eight months pregnant — and the story is pretty strange.

Saying he "messed up," Baskett told People magazine that he was at the grocery store in April 2014 when he saw a couple smoking pot in the parking lot. So of course, he approached them in hopes that the random strangers would sell him some of the drug. They gave him a phone number to call, he did and was given an address, and then he showed up at the home.

"I didn't engage in anything," he told the magazine. "It was like a bank robbery. You never know when you'll freeze. I don't know if it was a couple of seconds or 15 seconds, because all I was saying was get out, get out, get out." The magazine noted that he was "so humiliated and "distraught" by the incident, he couldn't tell Kendra about it.
