  • Kelly Bensimon Left $50K Worth of Jewelry in a Car and Guess What Happened Next

Suzy Byrne at Yahoo Celebrity 1 hr ago

Kelly Bensimon's recent jaunt to Martha's Vineyard wasn't all sailing trips and sunbathing. The one-time star of Real Housewives of New York is out $50,000 worth of designer jewelry after a bag containing the baubles went missing from a parked car on the Massachusetts island last Wednesday.

The 47-year-old former model was on the island for a two-day business trip, she told local newspaper the Martha's Vineyard Times. While on a sailing charter with an investor, whom she declined to name, discussing unspecified business ventures in financial technology, the brunette's canvas Black Dog bag containing the jewelry — including pieces from Cartier, Hermès, and a Mauboussin diamond ring — disappeared. Other items in the black 2010 Cadillac Escalade, including a Louis Vuitton bag and a computer, weren't touched.

Guess who had a better trip to the island this summer? The Obamas. Their annual trip to the summer playground ended just one day before Bensimon arrived.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have more to celebrate than their insanely hot bods. They've reached their first wedding anniversary.

The Being Mary Jane actress, 42, and her NBA star husband, 33, who tied the knot on Aug. 30, 2014, marked the occasion during a "surprise anniversary vacation," planned by Wade, in Bora Bora. The Wades splashed around on jet skis, cuddled up on the beach, and showed off their incredible beach bodies.

    Did we say incredible ?

    Yup.

Union, who had a long rode to the altar with Wade, also seemed to be addressing some of her haters in the caption of a photo showing her fearlessly plunging into bright blue waters.

It will definitely be hard to top.

  • Ellen Page on Playing a Lesbian in 'Freeheld': 'Dude Just Tell People You're Gay'

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 4 hrs ago

In advance of the release of Freeheld , in which Ellen Page and Julianne Moore play real life couple Stacie Andree and Laurel Hester, respectively, the pair covers Out magazine. Page speaks to how taking on the role encouraged her to come out herself, which she did in a rousing speech in 2014.

"I remember thinking, Ellen, how in God’s name could you make this film and not be out? What’s interesting to me is how long it took to make the movie — for it to finally come together — and how my internal progression toward coming out was naturally in line with it," Page tells Out . "Stacie and Laurel’s story is incredibly inspiring. It made me go, Dude, just tell people you’re gay. Just get over yourself, honestly, and support those who are not as privileged. It’s like, You have f--king privilege, so do something with it ."

Freeheld chronicles Andree and Hester's fight, as Hester was dying of lung cancer, to pass her pension benefits on to Andree, her legal domestic partner.

  • One Direction Enlists Fan Support for 'Dear World Leaders' Plea

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 7 hrs ago

With only approximately 200 days until One Direction's hiatus — which they promise is just a break but, like, we know how that goes — they are making the best of their time. They're sending a message to the leaders of the world: We are here , they are saying. This is what we want. #BuyDragMeDownOniTunes .

In the video called "Dear World Leaders," fans of One Direction worldwide speak the change they want to see in the world, including universal education, clean drinking water, energy conservation.

The boys of 1D are only present for the beginning of the video; Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson do the talking; Niall Horan's speaking priviledges must have been revoked as the last time he opened his pretty little mouth he spilled the beans on the band's big B-R-E-A-K.

The video, which will be shown on all remaining stops of the band's current tour, is part of the action/1D campaign, itself a part of action/2015, a citizens' movement aimed at making this year the one to begin the process of ending extreme poverty, inequality, and climate change.

  • Benji Madden Posts Loving Birthday Message to Cameron Diaz Amid Pregnancy Rumors

Suzy Byrne at Yahoo Celebrity 7 hrs ago

Who needs a store-bought greeting card when you are married to Benji Madden?

Cameron Diaz turned 43 on Sunday and, while we haven't seen all of her birthday loot, one of her best presents is this three-heart Instagram birthday message — a rare bit of PDA between the couple — from her husband:

"Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife❤My best friend and Everything else," Benji wrote along with the above photo of Cameron with her arm around him. "There's so much I could write. I'm the luckiest guy alive- I get to spend the rest of my life right here. I love this Woman!!❤Many more Baby!! ❤."

Leading up to their wedding, Diaz said she's wasn't trying to have kids, but she wasn't not trying either. "If a family happens, then it happens," she told Marie Claire. "If children come to me, then I would do that, but I'm not someone who feels like she has to do something because it's expected."

  • Ne-Yo Is Engaged, Set to Become a Dad Again

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 19 hrs ago

Good news for Ne-Yo: The "She Knows" singer announced Monday on Twitter that he's going to be a dad for the third time and a husband for the first.

His future wife and the mother of his unborn child is Crystal Renay. Ne-Yo has been romantically linked to the model since early 2014.

Although the news certainly calls for a celebration, Ne-Yo wasn't exactly happy that he had to turn to social media to share the detalis of his personal life. He was refuting a report from Entertainment Tonight, which stated he and Renay had already married in a surprise ceremony. It also mentioned Ne-Yo's former fiancée Monyetta Shaw, whom he was engaged to from 2011 to 2013. Besides being Ne-Yo's longtime ex-girlfriend, Shaw is the mother of his 3-year-old son Mason and daughter Madilyn, 4. The report read, "[Shaw] said that she got her tubes burned because they didn't want any more children, but they are no longer together, meaning she can't start a family with someone new if she chooses."

    Any more questions?

  • Your Guide to David Beckham's Family-Inspired Ink

    Yahoo Celebrity 21 hrs ago

David Beckham likes to express his love for family in a deep and lasting way.

Our favorite undies model loves his tattoos — and keeps adding new ones in honor of his wife, Victoria Beckham, and their four children. His most recent inky addition pays tribute to his eldest child, Brooklyn, in the form of script lettering (his favorite) spelling out the 16-year-old Instagram aficionado's nickname, "Buster," on the right side of his neck. The macho retired soccer star also added a heart for good measure.

"I've always called Brooklyn 'Buster' since the day he was born," Becks, 40, explained. "Love you Bust @brooklynbeckham."

  • Julia Roberts Gives a Rare Glimpse of Her Growing Kids

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

Julia Roberts chooses to keep her family to herself most of the time. With her, there's no adorable snapshots of her three children's latest accomplishments on Instagram, no quoting the cute thing they said on Twitter.

However, Roberts surprised on Saturday as she and her cinematographer husband, Danny Moder, brought their 8-year-old son Henry and 10-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel to the launch party for Outerknown, surfer Kelly Slater's new line of sustainable clothing, at a private residence in the family's hometown of Malibu, California.

The Erin Brockovich star, now 47, speaks proudly of her children in interviews and spends most of her time with them. In fact, family is the reason that she's drastically cut back the number of films she's done in recent years. The projects she does choose to make work around her family's schedule.

  • Who Really Won the VMAs?

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

While actual ratings haven't been released just yet, it's pretty clear that this year's Miley Cyrus-hosted MTV Video Music Awards were the buzziest ceremony in at least several years. Some beefs were started, others were squashed, Kanye West announced his candidacy for president, and, perhaps least surprising of all, Miley Cyrus showed us her boob.

Oh, and moonman trophies were handed out to a handful of people who won actual awards.

But, from a greater pop culture perspective, who really won this year and how are we even to determine such a thing? Yahoo developed a highly unscientific formula to do just that.

    Most Tweeted

    The Winner: Kanye West

    Most Memorable GIF

    The Winner: Nicki Minaj

    Most Shazam'd

    The Winner: Tori Kelly

    Most Powerful Statement

The Winner: Blac Chyna and Amber Rose

    Most Referenced

    The Winner: Kanye West

    Most Awards

    The Winner: Taylor Swift

And our overall winner is: Kanye West

If only the electoral college were this easy, Kanye.

  • Kim Kardashian's Morning Sickness Drug Ad Is Back, This Time With a Warning From the FDA

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

Kim Kardashian is many things: a mogul, a mom, a selfie pioneer. One thing she is not, anymore at least, is on the Food and Drug Administration's s--t list.

Sunday night, while her husband, Kanye West, was announcing his candidacy for president in 2020, Kardashian re-posted the above Diclegis ad to her Instagram, this time with a warning about usage, after the FDA called the first post "false or misleading in that it presents efficacy claims for Diclegis, but fails to communicate any risk information associated with its use and it omits material facts."

In her first post, Kardashian provided a link to health and safety information about Diclegis, but since links on Instagram aren't clickable, it was hardly helpful. The caption for that original post — which has since been deleted — only boasted the benefits she's experienced from usage.
