  • Melissa Rivers Reflects on Joan Rivers's Final Hours

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 1 hr ago

"I didn't have to tell her I loved her, she knew. She didn't have to tell me she loved me, I knew," says Melissa Rivers of the morning her mother, Joan Rivers, passed away, after one week in a medically induced coma.

Eight months to the day later, Melissa opened up on the Today show about her mother's tragic death and the legacy she left behind. In a previously released clip from the interview, Rivers called her mother's death "100 percent preventable." Monday morning, she got more specific.

Rivers checked into Yorkville Endoscopy in New York City the morning of August 28, 2014; she was there to receive a routine endoscopy. During the procedure, Rivers stopped breathing and would never do so on her own again. Allegations of malpractice and ineptitude have dogged the clinic since Joan Rivers's death.

That story comes from a report by the Health Department which found that one of the doctors in the operating room did take a photo during the procedure.

  • 5 Most Bizarre Celeb Moments at Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight

Taryn Ryder at Yahoo Celebrity 19 hrs ago

Did everyone have a nice nap last night? Since the "fight of the century" was essentially just Floyd Mayweather dancing around for $180 million, we couldn't help but lose focus and become more interested in the star-studded crowd.

Here are five celeb moments that got our attention:

    1. Justin Bieber is Officially No Longer the Oddest Member of Floyd Mayweather's Entourage 2015 has been the year of mature Bieber (or so we're led to believe) and that translated to the "Confident" crooner's wardrobe choice for last night. The 21-year-old singer nicely combed his freshly cut hair and opted for a slick gray suit to escort The Champ to the ring. While the Biebs blended in with the grown up, A-List crowd, it was the Burger King who stood out. No, really, Floyd chose to be accompanied by the fast-food chain's mascot as he made his way to the ring. Wonder how much BK dished out for that? Money Mayweather indeed.

He has also been a trending topic on Twitter, but for all the wrong reasons.

Middleton, 33, had to announce her pregnancy sooner than expected — at around 12 weeks — because she was forced to cancel an appearance due to Hyperemesis Gravidarum, or acute morning sickness.

With Kate's first pregnancy, she was so ill with the same condition that she had to be hospitalized. However, during the second time around she was able to be treated by doctors at her residence in Kensington Palace.

Prince William, 32, stepped in for his wife at the planned engagement in Oxford.

  • LeAnn Rimes Sets Off Fire Alarm in Airplane Bathroom

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 2 days ago

Oops! Singer LeAnn Rimes did not go unnoticed on a Friday flight into L.A.

Leave it up to me to set off the fire alarm in the airplane bathroom w/ @theDrybar dry shampoo #purecomedy #firsttimeforeverything

The culprit was an aerosol hair product, which the TSA allows in limited quantities. Mrs. Eddie Cibrian must have known the paparazzi would be waiting for her when she landed at Los Angeles International Airport, so she wanted to look good!

Sure enough, TMZ cameras were there to greet a well-coiffed Rimes when she landed.

"It was pretty funny," she told them with a laugh.

Not really, said all the other passengers.

  • Khloé Kardashian: Fashionable North West 'Already Knows What She Wants'

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 2 days ago

Before you know it, North West will be posting her own (fashionable) selfies.

Aunt and godmother Khloé Kardashian has confirmed that little Nori already has strong opinions about what she wears. While comparing her sister Kim's 23-month-old daughter to Penelope Disick, the 2-and-a-half-year-old offspring of sister Kourtney, the reality star revealed that the little girls are quite different... when it comes to style.

"[Penelope and North] go to ballet class together all the time, and P's always really girly, while North is normally in an all-black outfit," Khloé told Refinery29 in an interview . "Kim recently put North in an all pink leotard and tutu, and she texted me and was like, 'Look, I put North in pink just for you!' North didn't like it — North wanted a black tutu.

Clearly, North has adopted the fashion sensibilities of her parents, Kim and Kanye West, who often step out clad in black.

North had better stay on her fashion game, because some other Hollywood juniors are hot on the heels we assume she'll be wearing soon.

  • Idina Menzel Is Insulted People Thought She Went Blond Because of 'Frozen'

Taryn Ryder at Yahoo Celebrity 2 days ago

The 43-year-old actress — who voiced Elsa in the hit Disney film — switched up her hair color back in March, and naturally comparisons were drawn between her and her popular character. While the remarks seemed to be rather innocuous , Menzel took offense.

"They say I did it because I was inspired by my Elsa character, which I found very insulting," Menzel said on Friday on Good Day L.A. "That I would wake up one day and want to be blond, so I could look like an animated character... I just never, ever do anything with my hair and I finished my Broadway show. Eight shows a week, same thing."

Idina then pointed to a video of Elsa and sarcastically said, "I look just like her! Oh Elsa, thank you so much. We're exactly the same aren't we? Those skinny balletic arms and that tiny waist."

  • Good Lord, Tim McGraw! The 48-Year-Old Birthday Boy's Still Got It

Mallory Schlossberg at Yahoo Celebrity 2 days ago

How was your week? Good? Mediocre? Outstanding? Slightly boring and laden with passive Netflix marathons? However your week was, it's about to get maddeningly better for the next few moments, as Tim McGraw — who turns 48 today — took off his shirt this week and exercised outside on the grassy knolls of California. What for, you ask? Why, it was all for your viewing pleasure.

Okay, maybe it was for his own physical well being, but still. He did pushups! And, as he told Men's Health in 2014, "I'll be the first to admit I take it to extremes." So you can bet he worked hard .

And he also did magic! (Read: a handstand.)

    Damn, Tim. Damn.

But the country star's physique wasn't always prone to inducing jaw-to-floor syndrome. In fact, he used to not live such a healthy lifestyle at all. He told Peoplein 2013 he was guilty of drinking too much — and we all know the (non) science behind getting a six pack: not drinking a six pack.

Happy birthday to Tim McGraw and his abs!

  • Tom Brokaw Talks Luck and Cancer: There's No Such Thing as a 'Humble Anchorman'

Robert Kessler at Yahoo Celebrity 2 days ago

Tom Brokaw is looking back on a decades-long career and a life full of luck, as he puts it, in his new book A Lucky Life Interrupted . And in advance of the book's release, he talks to Parade about the luck that led him to where he is and his cancer diagnosis that threatened to tear it all apart.

"I've been lucky from my earliest memory on," he says. "I believe you make your own luck. My motto is 'It's always a mistake not to go.' So I jump on the airplane, try new things — sometimes I get in way over my head, but then I think, I'll work my way out of this somehow ."

Examples he provides are his assignment to cover the Watergate scandal as it was just breaking and being in Berlin when the Berlin Wall fell. "We had no idea the Wall was going to come down 24 hours after I got there," he recalls.

That "dose of humility" he claims was necessary because, "If there’s an oxymoron in American life it’s 'humble anchorman.'"

Brokaw credits his wife Meredith of 52 years with being his rock during his cancer fight.

  • Selena Gomez Fights Back Against a Body Shamer

Mallory Schlossberg at Yahoo Celebrity 2 days ago

Plenty of devoted fans of young pop stars — One Direction fans, Katy Perry fans, and Selena Gomez fans — comment obsessively all day long on Instagram, longing for the fateful day when their beloved celebrities will return their comments. One of Selena Gomez's followers got her (probable) wish! Only, Gomez was firing back at her for dissing her curvy body.

And while most comments often are shouted out into the ether, these comments were not. Gomez was responded in two posts:

"You're disgusting. I'M IN the business and I could care less about what 'they' or you say I should look like. I don't need to do anything other than love myself, take care of my work, fans, family and friends."

"And I do work out. It's not your place to tell anyone what they should or should not do."

And then Gomez proceded to ask to block Lauren.

    (Don't mess with Selena fans.)
