‘American Idol’ Alums Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young Duet for Life

It's official: "American Idol" has produced its first married couple.

Season five finalist Ace Young said "I do" to season three runner-up Diana DeGarmo in a music-filled ceremony at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard hotel in Los Angeles on June 1.

The happy couple, who met on the Broadway show "Hair," got engaged on the season 11 finale of "American Idol" and were quick to start planning their dream day. According to Young, he and his bride-to-be designed their entire wedding with the help of celebrity planner Reneé Strauss.

Several days before the two tied the knot, Young looped his fans in on all of the behind-the-scenes details. "@DianaDeGarmo & I have been doing everything together. I think that's important and it's really fun. THis is OURS," he shared.

It sounds like their nuptials were loaded with personal touches!

For his wedding look, the "Scattered" singer, 32, donned a custom-made box suit with a crest, which included the couple's monogram and the words "Forever Young." He kept the rest of his attire casual and rocked a pair of black tennis shoes.

Meanwhile his ladylove stunned in a curve-hugging Sareh Nouri gown with pearls and rhinestones. DeGarmo added a secret punch of color to her ensemble with a violet pedicure (which she tweeted about!), which kept with the wedding colors of purple and yellow.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, DeGarmo's brother, David, who has been deployed in Afghanistan, escorted her down the aisle to the sunflower-draped altar. Music writer Fred Bronson officiated the ceremony and the couple wrote their own vows. After exchanging vows, they walked back up the aisle to Led Zepplelin's "All My Love."

To add to the magic of their wedding, the duo also wrote and recorded a song, "I Do," for their first dance as a married couple.

As for the party, they celebrated with 250 guests, including their "Idol" pals Elliott Yamin, Kevin Covais, and Michael Johns, and DeGarmo's "The Young and the Restless" co-stars Christian LeBlanc and Tracey Bregman. Their pals munched on filet mignon, salmon, and pumpkin ravioli, and were treated to a tequila bar and two types of CO Beer.

From the sounds of it, the happy couple's big day went exactly as planned and they couldn't be more thrilled.

"Thank you EVERYONE for all the beautiful tweets and well wishes! You all ROCK! I and SO EXCITED to be with @DianaDeGarmo :-)" Ace tweeted on Saturday.
