Amanda Bynes Shares a New 'Selfie,' Clears Up Twitter Rumors

Looking good, Chicky! It's been three months since Amanda Bynes left an inpatient treatment facility and she's working hard to get her life back on track. The fashion student is looking healthier — and dipping her toes back into the Twitterverse.

The 27-year-old posted her second tweet since rebooting her Twitter account earlier this month and deleting most of the previous ones, many of which made headlines. (See: President Obama, Drake, Rihanna, and her selfie obsession.) This one was innocuous — she shared a sketch of what appears to be a self-portrait (her version of the selfie!) and shot down a rumor.

Bynes's first tweet, posted earlier this month, was just a "hello, world"-type message:

Over the weekend, Bynes, who attends design school at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, looked like her old self as she ran errands with her parents, whom she has been living with since she left a Malibu treatment facility in December. Wearing all black — including a sweatshirt with an "A" on it — and accessorized with shades and a Chanel purse, she sorted through boxes and helped carry one labeled "closet" to their ride.

In addition to looking good, the "All That" star has put most of her legal problems behind her. While she remains under the guardianship of her mother since she set a small fire in a neighbor's driveway last summer and was placed into psychiatric care, last month she pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor driving offense in L.A. stemming from a 2012 accident in which she struck a sheriff's patrol car and was given three years probation. Her two other hit-and-run cases (also in L.A.) were tossed as well. And the bong-throwing case, which took place in NYC, was dropped in January.

May she continue the forward momentum… and share more of that art work. We're much bigger fans of these selfies than we were of her old ones.
