Michelle Obama’s bangs weren’t the only ones making waves at the Inaugural Balls on Monday evening. Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson gave seriously buzz-worthy performances and still managed to make time to talk to “omg! Insider” co-host Kevin Frazier about what being part of such a momentous occasion meant to them.
“It was incredible,” Keys said of performing at all three balls. “The energy here was amazing. Obviously we’re very proud of this moment and this day. I think it leads us to the future in a beautiful way. So, you know, you feel really excited, you feel really proud.”
The “Girl on Fire” crooner really had people talking when the 31-year-old altered the lyrics of her hit song, singing, “Obama’s on fire!”
Apparently, her family’s also on fire, as Keys also admitted she’s ready for more children. “She finally said it,” her husband, Swizz Beatz, boasted.
Hudson performed the President and First Lady’s dance to Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.”
“It was the greatest honor to honor the President and First Lady,” the Oscar winner, 31, told “omg! Insider.” “I felt like I was dreaming the entire time, like, is this real?”
Yes it is, Jennifer. Welcome to the future.
