Rob Kardashian Wants to ‘Get Into Shape’ on ‘DWTS’

Kim Kardashian may have proudly shown off her fab figure at her recent nuptials, but her brother Rob, 24, is feeling less than confident about his own physique.

"I really want to get into shape," Rob toldUs Weekly, which is why the reality star has signed on to take part in the 13th season of "Dancing With the Stars."

"You probably wouldn't know, but I'm the most insecure and overweight I've ever been," he explained to the magazine Monday night, after the show's newest lineup of contestants, including David Arquette, Chaz Bono, and Kristin Cavallari, was revealed. "I'm over 200 pounds, so I want to drop weight and this will be a good start."

He's not alone in turning to "Dancing" to help him slim down. Last season, celebs including Wendy Williams, Kendra Wilkinson, and Kirstie Alley also looked to the contest's rigorous routines to help them shed the pounds. And Ricki Lake, one of Rob's 11 competitors this season, said that she's hoping to firm up on the dance floor as well. "I fell in love, and I got a little fluffy this year," the 42-year-old former talk show host told"Access Hollywood Live," "Not a lot fluffy, but like a little fluffier than I want to be. This is definitely time for me to shed the [pounds]for my wedding next year."

When it comes to the actual competition, however, Rob is hoping to fare better than big sister Kim, who participated in the show's seventh season in 2008. "I don't want her advice," he said. "I don't need advice from someone who lasted, I think three weeks." Sorry, Kim, but he has a point!
