The wait is over, "Real Housewives" fans! The Atlanta ladies are returning to the airwaves this Sunday night! Life & Style sat down with the stars of the hit Bravo reality show, and discovered that they're proud of being the most voluptuous "Housewives" cast.
"I like being a curvy size 6," former model Cynthia Bailey says in the mag's new issue. "I eat to be happy, not just to survive." And while you might roll your eyes at a model making such a statement, she's being honest. Anyone who watched Cynthia modeling swimsuits last season had to have noticed that she had a little, um, junkin her trunk, which made me like her all the more!
Singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss has been pretty open about her own weight issues. In June 2010, she posted this YouTube video where she said she wanted to lose 15 pounds after she went to a fitting for a photo shoot.
But now she's changing her tune and is insisting that as long as you are comfortable in your own skin, it doesn't matter what size you are. "Men like confident women," says Kandi. "They aren't turned on by women with hang-ups who hide themselves in the bedroom." Hmmm… sounds like someone might want to consider taking her own advice.
As for the outspoken NeNe Leakes, she can't help but feel big when hanging out with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast. "They're tiny -- I feel huge around them," she admits.
Adds Phaedra Parks, "I'd love to give them a dozen biscuits with homemade jam and butter!"
Now that's an episode I would tune in to see ...
