For you people who believe the old saying, "Those who can't do, teach," enter Amal Clooney. George's better half is going to be teaching at Columbia Law School this spring.
“It is an honor to be invited as a visiting professor at Columbia Law School alongside such a distinguished faculty and talented student pool," the British barrister said in a statement. "I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here.”
Amal, who specializes in international law and human rights, will lecture as a senior fellow with the Law School’s Human Rights Institute.
Hey… she certainly has the experience! Clooney has served as a senior adviser to Kofi Annan when he was the U.N.’s envoy on Syria, and she represented WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in extradition proceedings (just for starters).
It's no surprise that Clooney, who studied law at both NYU's Law School and at Oxford, would take the gig. She and George just relocated to New York while the actor films Money Monster and Amal hardly strikes us as the stay-at-home wife type.

No "Blurred Lines" here.
Nearly a year after Paula Patton and Robin Thicke announced their separation, the 39-year-old actress says she is thankful for where her life is at now. But it hasn't been easy.
"I mean, the honest truth is, it has been challenging. But it's been a year of growth… learning about all new things," she said on Good Morning America on Friday. "I feel like everything happens for a reason… And then you have to move on and grow from there."
Patton officially filed for divorce from her high school sweetheart in October 2014 and asked for joint custody of their 4-year-old son, Julian.

Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon has entered rehab after being interviewed by the TV doctor, according to multiple reports. In what has been described as an "emotionally charged intervention," Dr. Phil sat down with with Gordon and his mother, Michelle, in an episode set to air next week. Gordon has apparently been battling alcohol and drug addiction.
According to a press release for the upcoming show, Nick "expresses the severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks he says he has been suffering since Brown was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her home in January and over the tragic loss of Whitney Houston three years ago."
"As we sit here right now, my son's life hangs in the balance," Michelle says in a preview. "When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, 'Mom, why couldn't I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs.' He won't let go of the guilt."

The reality TV curse may have struck again.
Susan Sarandon and boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin have hit a rough patch, according to reports. Page Six alleges that the 68-year-old actress broke things off with the SPiN New York co-founder, 37, following a disagreement over a reality show.
No, they weren't fighting over whether or not Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna was too up in Kim Richards's business.
The couple of five years both appear on AOL's Connected, which features "six personal stories, weaving together the lives and experiences of six New Yorkers in a format that merges the documentary, drama and reality genres."
Maybe this is all just a good marketing strategy? The show launches on March 31.

Nikki Reed is heading to Washington! Or, at least, Sacramento.
Dressed in a smart suit with her hair pulled back, the Twilight alum, 26, took a trip to the State Capitol in California this week to testify for Assembly Bill 147. Reed argued that " animals used for science should not be discarded," and that cats and dogs should be allowed to be adopted after they've been tested on.
"The cruelty that they endure being used for research purposes is harsh enough," she shared on Instagram. "Let's not further the abuse by claiming that rescues are not equipped to help them live out the rest of their lives peacefully."
Reed documented her trip on the social media site.
" Standing in front of The Capitol before I testify with Emma, a survivor from a San Francisco testing facility. The holes in her ears are a testament to the horror she endured #AB147," she captioned the below snapshot.
The actress testified with Assembly member Matt Dababneh, and between the two of them, they got the bill passed.
We're guessing Nikki and Ian are going to have a lot of furry guests at their wedding.
What does it take to land Kristen Stewart?
The new CR Fashion Book issue features the Chanel muse, who is fittingly photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. In it, Stewart, 24, talks about her type and what she finds attractive in a partner.
“For me, the most attractive thing in a person is drive – genuine, impulse expressed for the sake of it, not for perception,” the Still Alice actress says. “I think that’s hot.”
The need to create "is a compulsion and I share that," she continues. "I do not approach my life tactfully at all… I'm incredibly impulsive and I am definitely an intense weirdo. I love living and I love people. They trip me out and I want to know more about them all the time. That isn't something I can turn off and on."

Considering she's a celebrity, Stewart has to choose the people she lets in her circle carefully (romantically and otherwise).
Following her big win, the Boyhood actress, 46, talked to People about the pressure Hollywood places on women.
"I've had so many of these conversations in my life... what I look like on film, what I don't look like on film. What are we supposed to look like? Men are not having these conversations," Arquette told the mag. "It's like we're trapped in wet wool or something. I just want to be free of it so we can move to the next level as equals."
She continued, "Not that I don't love being a woman, not that I don't love the differences between men and women. I just mean, as an actor – why is this a conversation? Why is aging a conversation? It's a one-sided conversation because it's only ever had by women."
One physical attribute of Arquette's she says was scrutinized at a young age were her teeth. Patricia, who falls in the middle of siblings Rosanna and David Arquette, said she told her parents she didn't want braces or her teeth straightened because "it didn't feel like it would fit who I was inside."
Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, turned 22 today and remains in a medically induced coma. It has been over a month since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub.
"Today is Bobbi Kristina's 22nd birthday and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life," Patricia Houston, president of Whitney Houston's estate, wrote in a statement alongside the above photo.
A criminal investigation has been opened, and according to reports, police have had a lot of questions for Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon. His cooperation has been inconsistent.
Gordon, who has been at odds with Bobby Brown over visitation, posted a birthday message on Twitter.
Happy Birthday baby I wish I was there with you to hold you and be by your side

Christie Brinkley stopped by The Dr. Oz Show this week and addressed the "leaked" natural photo of Cindy Crawford that recently blew up Twitter.
"I have to say something about this picture," Brinkley began. "I just shared a dressing room with Cindy Crawford, at most, it was a year ago. She was perfect ... I know that she takes really good care of herself… We're in the dressing room and I turned around to grab something and Cindy is stark naked stepping into something. She looked perfect. It was kind of annoying."
Brinkley, 61, continued, "I was very inspired and went home and did my exercises. I honestly don't know if that picture is for real. I know there's people that would like to believe it, but I'm telling you with my own eyes, she was perfect."
While Crawford didn't comment about the photo, her photographer spoke out yesterday, calling the image " a fraudulent, altered version of my photograph" and threatening legal action to anyone who put up the fake photo.

TMZ reported Wednesday that, " Bobby's 2 sisters, brother and their kids are shooting the show about their lives, and part of it will chronicle Bobbi Kristina fighting for her life."
But in a statement to The Insider With Yahoo , Brown's lawyer balsted the "irresponsible" report: "Yet again, TMZ has chosen to engage in false news reporting. There is no Brown family reality show that is in production which chronicles Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina or the medical emergency she presently faces at Emory Hospital. These reports are irresponsible and Warner Brothers as the owner of TMZ, should be ashamed to publish such nonsense, particularly one day before Bobbi Kristina's birthday. Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Brown are dealing with enough right now. The fact that TMZ/Warner Brothers has decided to inject negativity into their lives at this critical time is plain insanity."
Bobbi Kristina remains on life support after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31.
Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of Whitney Houston, turns 22 tomorrow.
