J.Lo tweeted and Instagrammed the pic with the FLOTUS writing, "Me and my girl @FLOTUS at #LULAC national convention for the empowerment of Latinos. #represent #dreambig."
The American Idol judge, 44, introduced Mrs. Obama before her speech at the 2014 LULAC/NUVOtv convention in New York. LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) is the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States, focusing on advancing the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil rights of Hispanic-Americans through community-based programs.
The first lady posted several tweets in regards to the event, including: "We're trying to inspire every young person in this country to complete their education beyond high school" -FLOTUS at #LULAC14 #ReachHigher."
"19 Kids and Counting" star Michelle Duggar has allowed her and her family's lives to be on display since the reality show began airing on TLC in 2008.
While the family members have been very open about their devotion to religion as well as their strong family bond, the one thing that hasn't been spoken about is Michelle's struggle with bulimia as a teenager.
The 47-year-old is opening up for the first time to People about how she struggled with an eating disorder beginning at the age of 14.
"I found out that genetically I could put on weight easily, but with my activities, gymnastics and cheerleading, it was important for me not to," she said. "I was doing it sometimes on a daily basis, or sometimes I would go a week. I felt this was the answer to my problems."
The mother of 19 admitted that she didn't talk about her battle with bulimia with her friends as a teenager, but she did tell her now-husband of 29 years, Jim Bob, about her issues when they first started dating all those years ago.
Getting over a divorce is never easy, but Khloé Kardashian seems to be handling her split from Lamar Odom with grace and ease.
The 29-year-old is opening up in the April issue of Cosmopolitanmagazine about how she managed to move on from her split, despite having a very public divorce.
"I'm not a big 'cry on a shoulder' person," she said. "I'm very introverted when it comes to my own stuff. Everyone has issues, and I'm not someone who likes to burden people ... I hold things in. I don't know why."
While the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star isn't shedding tears on someone's shoulder, she's also not wallowing in sadness. Instead, she's taking things in stride and focusing on the future, which she has high hopes will be very bright.
But happiness isn't Khloé's only hope for the future — she also admitted to wanting children one day.
"I love kids," the brunette beauty stated. "I hope and pray I have kids when the time is right."
Nicki Minaj just might be flipping her wig soon!
The former "American Idol" judge is facing legal trouble after her former hairstylist Terrence Davidson filed a $30 million lawsuit Friday in the district court in Atlanta.
Davidson claims that he and Minaj made plans to create a wig line together and were in discussions about a possible joint reality show.
According to CNN, Davidson began working for Minaj in January 2010, and as the "Starships" singer began to get more and more famous, so did her supercolorful wigs. Now, the hairstylist is claiming that he lost out on profits after he saw versions of the personalized wigs he'd made on her site. "I see the wigs online," Davidson told CNN about his findings on her site. "People are basically duplicating what I created for Nicki Minaj."
But, while the suit seems to be quite the hairy situation, Davidson's attorney, Christopher Chestnut, told CNN Friday that this lawsuit is about more than just hair.
Matthew McConaughey is one of the hottest stars this awards show season, already taking home Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards, and receiving a leading actor Oscar nomination for his role as AIDS activist Ron Woodroof in "Dallas Buyers Club."
His portrayal of Woodruff was certainly one that will not soon be forgotten, and the actor chatted with James Lipton on "Inside the Actors Studio," airing Thursday on Bravo, about one particular scene in the film that changed his life forever.
"There's a scene in the film where Ron goes, 'I'm dying.' Those two words, 'I'm d-y-i-n-g.' I didn't expect it, but it just … hit me and it floored me," the 44-year-old revealed. "Saying those two words floored me in a way that I think definitely, I mean, grounded me since then. I am different than I was before. Maybe it's my own mortality, but it was a moment personally for me that I found through Woodroof that's never going to leave me."
Check out this video to hear more of Matthew gushing about his love for the film, and tune in to "The Insider" on TV tonight for all the latest in entertainment news.
"The Bachelor" has an abundance of three things: drama, romance, and, of course, cheesy lines!
"The Insider" correspondent Keltie Knight chatted with the show's host, Chris Harrison, on Wednesday, and Harrison revealed his list of the cheesiest things he's ever said on the show.
"I say so many horrible things in the show that it will haunt me til the day I die." Harrison shared. "From, you know, 'Take a moment to say your goodbyes.' And 'This is your final rose tonight.'"
But the host isn't the only one who has a way with words! The current bachelor himself, Juan Pablo, has his own set of cheesy lines he’s used with the women throughout the show and has a track record this season for not only sweeping the ladies off their feet with his looks and accent but also with his kisses.
Harrison gave his best impression of the hunky reality star, divulging his thoughts on the former soccer star's cheesiest lines.
Check out this video to see the cheesiest lines played out, and tune in to "The Insider" tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
From her form-fitted catsuit to her leg-tastic 2012 Oscar gown, Angelina Jolie knows a thing or two about showing off her beautiful bod. But the actress ditched her signature sultry style over the weekend on the BAFTA Awards red carpet by wearing a matching menswear-inspired ensemble with her main man, Brad Pitt. Wearing a custom-made Saint Laurent tuxedo, the 38-year-old proved that she really can look fierce in anything.
Though the "Maleficent" star didn't mention what the inspiration was behind her menswear look, we're thinking it might have something to do with the fact that she wanted to make sure all eyes were on Brad, whose film "12 Years a Slave" took home a BAFTA for best picture. While she managed to avoid stealing the spotlight from her hunky fiancé as she did on the 2012 Academy Awards red carpet by showing off her leg in her black velvet Atelier Versace gown, this look is certainly one that will not soon be forgotten.
But it could also be said that the actress is just joining in Hollywood's latest fashion trend: women wearing tuxedos.
So, in honor of Presidents Day, we're breaking down our top three favorite celebrity presidential roles.
Sir Anthony Hopkins came in at number three for his role as President John Quincy Adams in the 1997 film "Amistad." The actor was only 59 at the time but played the part of the 72-year-old president flawlessly.
From the costume to the beard to the accent, the Oscar-winning actor played the part to perfection. But one of the most impressive aspects of his performance was his memorizing the seven-page-long courtroom speech and completing the scene in only one take.
Our second favorite presidential performance was by Josh Brolin. The actor played George W. Bush in the 2008 biopic "W.," and admitted to working on his voice for the role of America's 43rd president in quite an unusual way.
''Sometimes I'll call hotels in Texas and talk to the people at the front desk just to listen to their accents," he admitted to Entertainment Weekly in 2008. "I've been watching a lot of video of Bush walking. It changes over the years, how he walks in his 30s, how he walks in foreign lands, before 9/11 and afterwards."
Shakira's and Rihanna's vocals in their new duet, "Can’t Remember to Forget You," were just about as fabulous as it gets. But they were nothing compared with how smoking hot their music video is for the single.
The two released the video to their song Thursday, and it's safe to say they are not holding back one bit! Between their ensembles and their visible chemistry, they aren't shy about getting saucy in front of the cameras.
Their interactions in the video don't really come as a surprise. The new mom is on the cover of Glamour magazine's February 2014 issue and was very open about her adoration for the "Diamonds" singer.
"Working with her was utopia. She's the sexiest woman on the planet," Shakira said about her fellow songstress. "And at the end of the day, we're both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher."
The bombshells collaborated on this song, but it doesn't seem as if they're going to head out on tour together anytime soon, as they both have quite the busy schedule.
