  • Robert Downey Jr. Sticks It to Interviewer... Again

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

    Don't mess with RDJ.

As he continued his press tour to promote The Avengers: Age of Ultron on Friday, Robert Downey Jr. took a jab at reporter Krishnan Guru-Murthy, of Britain's Channel 4 News, who miffed the actor earlier in the week. And all he had to do was post a simple photo: an image of himself with ABC journalist Diane Sawyer, who happened to be his fellow guest on Live With Kelly and Michael.

In case you missed it, Downey walked out of an interview with Guru-Murthy on Wednesday after the reporter wouldn't stop asking about awkward things from Downey's past, such as how his time in prison affected his political views and how drugs and alcohol influenced his relationship with his father. Kinda heavy subjects for a chat that was supposed to be about a comic book movie!

As Downey pulled off his mic, he quipped, "You seem OK, it's just getting a little Diane Sawyer in here."

  • Russell Crowe: 'I Didn't Get Married to Get Divorced'

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 1 day ago

Russell Crowe hasn't given up on his marriage.

The Oscar-winning actor and his wife, Danielle Spencer, separated more than two years ago, but they've yet to divorce. In fact, they won't ever make their split permanent if the Gladiator star has his way.

Crowe told CBS This Morning in an interview Friday that separating from Spencer, his wife of nine years, made him feel unbalanced. The Australian actors met on the set of a 1990 movie, The Crossing , in which both of them starred. They had an on-again, off-again relationship for years and became engaged in 2002. Eventually, they welcomed sons Charles, 11, and Tennyson, 8.

"I was so proud to wear that ring, you know," Crowe said. "And every now and then, I'll do that on my finger, it's not there anymore. So, to this day, everything that I do is still connected to that, you know. And, you know, we haven't done the deal yet. So, you never know."

Crowe's "a very persistent person," he told Charlie Rose. "I didn't get married to get divorced."

    Never say never.

  • Throwback Video: Watch 16-Year-Old Ben Affleck's Burger King Commercial

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 3 days ago

Ben Affleck is not, as a Burger King's slogan once said, having it his way right now. The actor and director is dealing with the fallout after word leaked that he requested his September appearance on PBS's genealogy show, Finding Your Roots , be censored when he discovered he had an ancestor who had held slaves. On Wednesday, he revealed some info about the relative on Twitter: "Lots of people have been asking who the guy was. His name was Benjamin Cole - lived in Georgia on my Mom's side about six generations back."

  • Rumer Willis Used to Have a Crush on Ashton Kutcher — Until He Married Her Mom

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 3 days ago

    Talk about awkward!

Rumer Willis, the 26-year-old daughter of actors Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, has revealed her true feelings about when her mom first began dating the 15-years-younger actor Ashton Kutcher in 2003. The Dancing With the Stars contestant confessed that Kutcher's poster once adorned her bedroom wall, but that it came down immediately.

"It was definitely weird for a minute, but I have to commend him," Willis told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show Wednesday. "He was a really great stepfather. The perspective changed very quickly."

Willis — who was 15 when Moore and Kutcher got together — said she wasn't jealous her mom had snagged the handsome That '70s Show star.

"I was kind of impressed," she explained. "I was like, 'Yeah, girl, get it.'"

  • Sandra Bullock Named People's 'Most Beautiful' of 2015

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 4 days ago

Sandra Bullock has been beloved by audiences for decades, but only now has the 50-year-old actress been named the "World's Most Beautiful Woman" by People magazine.

Just don't tell her that the title is long overdue. The Oscar-winning actress's first response to the news was to laugh.

"No, really," she told the magazine during her photo shoot for the special issue. "I just said, 'That's ridiculous.' I've told no one."

Bullock was recognized as "Woman of the Year" by the publication in 2010, and has been featured inside the annual "Beautiful" issue before, but this is the first time she's landed the cover. Ironically, the honor comes one day after her 1995 romantic comedy While You Were Sleeping — which solidified her rep as America's Sweetheart — celebrated its 20th anniversary.

    While looking beautiful, of course.

People's "World's Most Beautiful" special double issue hits newsstands April 24. Empire star Taraji P. Henson and Orange Is the New Black 's Laverne Cox are among the others included in the issue.

  • Paris Hilton's Dog Tinkerbell Dies

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 4 days ago

Paris Hilton's beloved Chihuahua Tinkerbell has died.

She shared the news via Instagram on Tuesday. "My heart is broken. I am so sad & devastated," she wrote. "After 14 amazing years together my baby Tinkerbell has passed away of old age. I feel like I've lost a member of my family. She was such a special & incredible soul. We went through so much together. I can't believe she's gone. I will miss her & think about her for the rest of my life. I love you Tinky, you are a Legend & will never be forgotten."

The hotel heiress owns many pets, dogs in particular, but Tinkerbell was one of her favorites. In the early 2000s, Paris carried Tinkerbell to ritzy stores, fashion shows, and even on her reality show The Simple Life , helping to inspire the stereotype of L.A. ladies who carry around tiny dogs in handbags.

Sadly, that's no longer true. R.I.P. Tinkerbell.

  • Kanye West: When I Worked at Gap

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 5 days ago

Kanye West can't stop talking about Gap.

The 37-year-old briefly worked for the chain retailer as a teen growing up in Chicago and, by his own account, did not enjoy it. In his 2004 song "Spaceship," from his debut album The College Dropout , West rapped that he made "no scratch" at the retailer, so he stole from it and eventually quit. Still, it was obviously a formative experience for him.

In an essay that he penned for the new "American Dream" issue of Paper magazine, West name checked the company twice. (The mag is the same one responsible for the photo of West's wife Kim Kardashian balancing a champagne bottle on her bottom last year, but West stayed quite covered up for his turn on the racks.)

Kanye also referenced Gap as he talked about what he feels is a responsibility to help others, particularly his fellow musicians.

  • John Travolta: Scientology Is 'Not Understood'

Raechal Leone Shewfelt at Yahoo Celebrity 5 days ago

John Travolta is once again defending Scientology.

The actor has been devoted to the cult-like religion for more than four decades, and recent criticism of it from the HBO documentary Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief has not changed his mind. The doc alleged physical and mental abuse, as well as corruption, within the church.

In an interview Monday with Good Morning America, the 61-year-old explained his theory as to why people have such strong feelings against his religion.

"Mostly because it's not understood," he said. "People really need to take time and read a book. You know, that's my advice. You could read [Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard's] A New Slant on Life , you could read Dianetics . I think if you really read it, you'll understand it, but unless you do, you'll speculate. And I think that's a mistake to do that."

When GMA host Amy Robach asked why Scientology had become such a target, Travolta had a ready explanation.

"And I don't really care to," he added.
