Katy Perry just got catty — in a good way.
The pop star showed off her new Hello Kitty tattoo inked on her middle finger in a pic she posted to Instagram on Thursday.
"Does this make my gang signs look soft now?" she captioned the photo of her extended finger featuring the signature pink bow and mouthless face of the Sanrio character.
Perhaps the chart topper, who just celebrated her 30th birthday on Oct. 25, decided to give herself a fun present to mark the milestone. It's certainly the cutest tattoo we've ever seen!

But Katy's tiny tat tribute to Hello Kitty seems purr-fect by comparison as it will last forever. Meow!
The Big Bang Theory actress is now officially a big attraction: Kaley Cuoco received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old even shed a few tears at the ceremony. "This is a dream come true and I am forever grateful," Cuoco, who plays the role of Penny on the hit CBS comedy, told assembled friends, fans, and co-stars.
She also thanked her husband of 10 months, Ryan Sweeting, for dealing with "a lot of Kaley days." "Love you… and this would not be the same without being able to share it with you today." Awww.
Cuoco was pretty in the pink Monique Lhuillier top and skirt she donned for the special occasion. She was joined by Big Bang Theory 's executive producer, Chuck Lorre, as well as co-stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyer.
Parsons noted that the two of them recently worked on an episode that had them both cracking up, even after so many years working together.
No theory here: The stars have aligned.
Mrs. Cruise, she is not. And Katie Holmes is hoping you'll see that, too.
"I don't want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am. I don't want that to be what I'm known as," she told People magazine looking back at her marriage to Tom Cruise, which ended in 2012. "I was an actor before, I was an actor during, and I'm an actor now."
Being an actor doesn't mean being immune from tough times, though. The 35-year-old Dawson's Creek star admitted, "I'm much more shy and also much more sensitive than people realize. I cry all the time. I do!"
But they're not always tears of sadness. Holmes spoke of the warm feelings she got after ending her marriage, fleeing Scientology, and leaving Los Angeles for the East Coast with her daughter, Suri, now 8. "When I got to New York City, the amount of support I got from strangers … It makes me cry."
Even Wolverine is no match for the sun.
Hugh Jackman recently submitted to his third treatment for skin cancer, his rep confirmed to Yahoo.
On Monday, the X-Men star shared this one-word message on Instagram: "Sunscreen!" The 46-year-old actor is unfortunately all too aware of its importance.
His bandaged nose made an appearanceon the photo-sharing site in November following his first bout with skin cancer, and then in May after another lesion was removed.
"Another Basel Cell Carsinoma. All out now," the A-lister posted. "Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!"
Kristen who? Robert Pattinson certainly seems to have moved on. The actor was photographed with his new gal pal, FKA Twigs, in Paris on Tuesday.
The British singer-songwriter, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, is currently traveling around Europe for her concert tour — and R. Pattz seemed quite happy to join her on the road in the City of Light.
The two were snapped spending the day in each other's company before her performance that night at La Maronquinerie. Pattinson looked scruffy but casual in a blue overcoat and brown wool hat while Twigs pulled her hair up in a messy bun and sported a denim jacket. Both wore sunglasses.
This isn't the first time the lovebirds have been spotted together. In September, photos of the couple holding hands in Venice Beach in Los Angeles surfaced, breaking Twi-hard fans' hearts everywhere.
Fortunately, Naomi Watts didn't go all Mean Girls on Lindsay Lohan for stealing her look. The slinky Givenchy number that LiLo, 28, recently sported on the opening night of her Speed-the-Plow production in London's West End was the same one Watts, 46, donned for th e 13th annual AARP Movies for Grownups Awards Gala in Los Angeles back in February. Though Lohan's debut performance received mixed reviews, what about her fashion choice for the afterparty?
What they wore: A rosy, sequined Givenchy frock, which hits just below the knees and covers the arms. The beautiful blush tone and all-over sparkle certainly explains the stars' attraction to the same dress, which was flattering on both actresses.
What do you think? Was Lindsay a shining style star? Or did Naomi get it right by letting the dress speak for itself?
Amanda Bynes has been placed on psychiatric hold for the second time, Yahoo has confirmed.
After landing in L.A. on Friday, the troubled star was apparently taken to a treatment facility in Pasadena, California, where she will be held for 72 hours.
The move happened on the heels of Bynes's increasingly bizarre behavior in New York City, culminating in a series of disturbing tweets directed at her father.
The allegations led the troubled actress's mother to break her silence and come to his defense on Friday.
"I am heartbroken today for my husband of 47 years," Lynn Bynes told Yahoo in a statement from her attorney, Tamar Arminak. "Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually. These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth! These allegations stem from Amanda's mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband's character could be slandered in such a way." The statement was spurred by these tweets posted by Bynes.
I need to tell the truth about my dad
Since he admitted that the two are living in separate houses back in August, Cannon's relationship has been thrust into the media spotlight, for better or for worse. But, while the songstress has remained pretty quiet since the news broke, the America's Got Talent host has been opening up. "I'm just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day," the 34-year-old told Extra at the New York City premiere of Addicted on Thursday.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's three-day wedding extravaganza certainly looked like a lavish affair. And now we know there was a hefty price tag to match.
According to People magazine – which scored exclusive photos and details for its latest issue – the tab for the Sept. 27 Venice, Italy nuptials was around a whopping $1.6 million.
The magazine's source shot down reports that the celebrations ran as much as $13 million and rumors that the bride's family footed the bill.
The ceremony, which took place at the posh Aman Canal Grande resort, was a star-studded affair, with around 100 guests, including Rande Gerber and wife Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon and wife Luciana, John Krasinski and wife Emily Blunt, Bono, Ellen Barkin, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Katy Perry is known for her over-the-top performances, and as ESPN's College GameDay celebrity picker, she didn't disappoint .
Clad in a hot pink, fuzzy football jersey, the pop singer appeared on the college football pregame show Saturday as No. 3 Alabama faced off against No. 11 Ole Miss. She admitted she had never attended a college game before and didn’t know much about sports (she was on the show because her manager and mentor are Ole Miss alumni). However, she kept everyone entertained with her kooky antics.
Perry made a crass joke about South Carolina’s g amecock mascot and even hurled corndogs at the camera, implying that LSU fans smelled like them.
Her bold moves didn't end there: She hit on Oklahoma’s 20-year-old quarterback Trevor Knight. She said she picked Oklahoma to beat TCU “based on looks” and held a heart-shaped photo of Knight, adding, “Trevor, call me!”
