Valentino: The Man Behind the Tan

Even if you're not a fashionista, chances are you know the name Valentino Garavani, aka Valentino. Although Gwyneth Paltrow is considered his most recent muse, the perennially tan designer has outfitted everyone from Jacqueline Kennedy to Miley Cyrus.

After 45 years in the business, Valentino announced his retirement as the curtain closed on his final haute couture fashion show in Paris last year. A new documentary, "Valentino: The Last Emperor," chronicles Garavani from 2005-2007 and gives insights into the man behind the tan, including his lifelong relationship with Giancarlo Giammetti and the sale of the House of Valentino to the Marzotto Group.

Let's just say the drama isn't limited to the runways!
