Rihanna: ‘I have not been on a date in forever’

With all the drama surrounding Rihanna's love life — is she or isn't she back together with Chris Brown? Has she ever really been romanced by Drake, Ashton Kutcher, or Shia LaBeouf ... or anyone else she's rumored to be dating? From the sounds of it, you would think she has a date lined up for every night of the week! But as she reveals in the latest issue of Vogue magazine, that's not the case. "I have not been on a date in forever. Like two years. Haven't gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero," she sighs, adding that her single status is not exactly by choice. "I would love to go on a date. You don't think that? I'm a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point."

RiRi's bold and often brash personality is something fans love about her, but she admits it's also something that intimidates most guys. "No one asks [for a date]. Trust me on that," the 24-year-old notes. "I'm waiting for the man who's ballsy enough to deal with me. I'm going to wait, though. You always find the wrong s--- when you go looking." (During the interview, Rihanna also shoots down rumors that she was flirty with "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson this summer, while he and longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart were on the rocks, calling those reports "the most bulls--- ever.")

Still, without question, the "Talk That Talk" singer's most famous relationship is the one she shared with fellow singer Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to felony assault for beating her back in February 2009 when they were a couple. She later made the controversial decision to record a remix of her song "Birthday Cake" with Brown, and has recently been seen hanging out with him. (Guess she doesn't count those outings as dates!) Brown even went as far as breaking up with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, because he said he didn't want Tran to be "hurt over [his] friendship with Rihanna." For her part, the Barbadian beauty admits that she understands people are curious about the relationship. "To the world, I feel like there's no closure. There's some obsession that's continued even throughout when we weren't friends or couldn't be friends at all. Hated each other," Rihanna shares. "The world hasn't let go. They haven't seen any progress in our friendship, because they don't see anything, really, besides the song. So now it's a bit of a fascination, I guess."

Though some people won't ever understand how Rihanna's been able to rekindle at least a close friendship — maybe more? — with a man who once hurt her so badly, she's OK with it. "They're not on the inside," she says. "They can't see what I see, unless they're sitting in my point of view. I guess I'll learn to accept that."
