Rent Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s house for $50,000 a month

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have learned the hard way just what a crazy train the real estate market is these days. After listing their home, located in the prestigious gated community of Hidden Hills, California, near Los Angeles, for $13 million last summer, the rocker and TV host have come to terms with the fact that they're not going to get their asking price (at least not right now). Rather than drop the price, the two are trying to rent out the property, according to real estate site Trulia. Interested? All you have to do is sign a lease … and shell out $50,000 a month.

The new tenant will be getting some rather nice digs in exchange for the super steep rent. The Cape Cod-inspired house, which was featured in Architectural Digest last year, totals nearly 11,000 square feet and includes six bedrooms and a whopping 10 bathrooms. The yard features a luxurious pool with sweeping views of the surrounding green hills (they didn't name it Hidden Hills for nothing!), Cararra marble in the master shower, multiple fireplaces, sliding barn doors in the family room, and of course, a music studio. The foyer looks to be the most dramatic room in the manse with cathedral ceilings, sky-high windows, a grand spiral staircase, and Venetian-plastered walls. As for Sharon's collection of antique Italian puppets and dolls, which currently sits in the living room, well, no word on whether those are included in the lease.

The couple purchased the house for just under $12.4 million in 2007, after selling their fabled Beverly Hills home — which served as the backdrop of their MTV reality show "The Osbournes," — to Christina Aguilera. The pop star isn't immune to the sour market either, though. She's had that house on the market for $13.5 million nearly a year and a half.
