Ready, Set, ‘Zoe’!

Almost overnight, fashionista Rachel Zoe inspired a generation of young girls to wear oversized Jackie O sunglasses and boho chic frocks after dressing such Hollywood starlets as Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, and Mischa Barton. At the time, Rachel's clients were dubbed 'Zoe-bots' and rumors swirled that she made them slim down to a size 0. In Bravo's "The Rachel Zoe Project" the stylist steps in front of the camera to star in her very own reality series, where viewers can take a peek inside the crazy life of Rachel, her husband, and her team as they go about shopping for her celebrity clientele and shaping the fashion trends of tomorrow by making and breaking designer brands.

Even though Rachel has consistently denied accusations that she motivates the actresses she styles to lose weight, people are still not convinced. Rachel hopes to change that with this show by giving us an inside look at her hectic life and expanding her Rachel Zoe brand at the same time.

After watching these previews, I have to admit that I'm pretty intrigued. Maybe the show will be able to transform Rachel from a controversial tabloid figure into a legitimate fashion icon. I'm most excited to see the fabulous gowns, couture designer and celebrity cameos, and extravagant shopping sprees. I'm not sure whether I love or hate her yet, but the drama that's guaranteed to erupt between Rachel and her trusted inner circle (I love Brad already!) is enough to make me tune in to the premiere tonight at 11 p.m.
