A-Line: Celebrity StyleParis Dons a Dark ‘Disguise’
Tiny pups, a pink Bentley, Britney Spears ... they've all been accomplices in hotel heiress Paris Hilton's seemingly endless quest for attention. On Thursday, the infamous blonde added something else to that list: a long, dark brown wig, which she donned while out shopping in the capital of France.
You see, the 29-year-old jet-setter already had attracted quite the crowd of paparazzi during her French getaway with sister Nicky and other friends. Cameras clustered outside each boutique Paris visited to browse and buy high-end creations by Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, and more. But Paris must not have been satisfied with the reception, because later in the week she threw on the chocolate tresses and, in a not-so undercover operation, posted on Twitter both a photo of herself wearing the wig and the message: "My attempt to disguise myself is not working."
Not that Paris looked all that different with the wig on anyway, but, um, it definitely wasn't going to work after that! Of course, my theory is Paris was well aware of the flurry of press she'd get for temporarily going over to the dark side, and she enjoyed every second of it. Proof? The former reality TV star later tweeted a link to a gossip website with pics of herself incognito. She even asked her followers early Friday, "Do you guys like me as a blonde or brunette?"
Honestly, Paris, you looked lovely in both shades! Is that what all of this was about?
