Gwen Stefani rocks cool optical illusion dress in London

Gwen Stefani looked hot from any angle as she stepped out in a metallic optical illusion dress in London on Wednesday night. The No Doubt rocker, who turns 43 on October 1, paired her chic mini dress with footless tights, black heels, and a box clutch. The "I'm Just a Girl" singer and her bandmates are across the pond to promote their first album since 2001, Push and Shove, which was released this week.

A lot of things have changed in the last 11 years, and Stefani's personal life is no exception. She and Gavin Rossdale now have two sons, 6-year-old Kingston and 4-year-old Zuma, so recording new tunes meant that Stefani had to be creative with her schedule. "I would be up all night because my second baby [Zuma] didn't sleep, and he had a lot of ear infections," Stefani reveals in the latest issue of Marie Claire magazine. "Then I'd wake up in the morning and do my workout, which I always felt I had to do, and then meetings for my three clothing lines, and then hang out with my kids, take them to preschool, da-da-da. And then at 4 o'clock, I'd be like, 'All right, I'm out of here, I'm going to go to the studio' and try to write a record. Sit on the couch [with my bandmates] and be like, 'Let's do this now because I'm missing time with the kids; I could be having dinner with them and putting them to bed.' It was really hard."

Somehow, Stefani and the other members of No Doubt — who are all dads — made it work. They debuted a new song, "Easy," which Stefani considers her favorite from the album, as well as a video for the song "Push and Shove" this week. Check out the "Push and Shove" clip below:
