Anna Wintour ‘Issues’ the Dirt

O! M! G!

I cannot believe I'm typing this. Did you know that there is a documentary film coming out in August that chronicles the work life of Vogue magazine's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour?! I didn't until I just watched the preview for "The September Issue."

All you fashionistas out there should know who Ms. Wintour is, but for those of you who don't, she's the cold-as-ice, fur-loving style guru, who is quite possibly the most influential person in all of fashion. In addition to being the driving force behind many designer's collections, the crisply bobbed 59-year-old is also known for her Chanel suits, monstrous sunglasses, A-list rolodex, liberal politics, $2 million-a-year salary, volatile outbursts, outrageous demands, and for keeping her work life and private life extremely private. Perhaps even secretive. In fact, many believe that Meryl Streep's character -- Miranda Priestly -- in "The Devil Wears Prada" is based on Wintour and her wicked ways.

In any case, I'm extremely excited to see the movie. The fashions will be fierce, the vitriol-spiked blowups will be fiercer, and finally being granted exclusive access to the inner workings of this diminutive diva's life will be fiercest.

Long live the Queen ... even if she's made of ice!
