When we see hot celebs walking the red carpet in all their glitz and glam sometimes it's hard to remember they're not only mega movie stars but charitable, ordinary people as well.
Super cutie Zac Efron took time out of his busy schedule to read The Lorax to elementary children in New York last week. The blue eyed babe lends his voice to the new Dr. Seuss movie where he plays the 12-year-old boy Ted.
"It's an honor to not only be a part of this movie, but to work with the National Education Association's Read Across America to inspire the love of reading in millions of kids," Zac said.
Lending his voice and reading skills aren't the only things this Hollywood star is up to. Let's take a look at his recent and upcoming news.
He is NOT dating Taylor Swift
It's easy to link stars together when they work on the same movie but after recent rumors swirled country star Taylor and big screen star Zac were hooking up both stars confirmed the rumors were false. Bummer! We could actually see these two being a pretty cute Hollywood couple but looking at Taylor's dating history Zac probably isn't her type.
"He's awesome, we are not a couple though. You hear people get together when they're shooting movies, co-stars. But not like animated co-stars. You know what I'm saying," Taylor said in an interview at the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" with Zac by her side.
If Zac isn't dating Taylor then who should he date?
He's preparing for a big year at the box office
"The Lorax" might be his first movie to be released in 2012 but it certainly isn't his last. Zac has three other big Hollywood blockbusters releasing this year.
"The Lucky One" is a romantic film based on a Nicholas Sparks novel will be released later next month co-starring super babe Taylor Schilling. After that he'll be starring as the lead in the November thriller "The Paperboy" next to Hollywood legends John Cusack and Nicole Kidman and as the lead in an untitled Ramin Bahrani film due to release this year as well.
Is this Zac's big year in Hollywood? Are you looking forward to seeing some swoon worthy moments of his on the big screen in "The Lucky One" next month?
