Taylor Swift and her brother Austin haven't forgotten where they came from.
The "Blank Space" singer's gal-pal Lorde shared via Twitter on Monday that during a MTV Video Music Awards after-party this weekend, Austin adorably reminded his older sister of their roots.

"At the after party, Austin leaned down from the banquette heaving with models in VIP to whisper in Taylor's ear, 'We grew up on a FARM!!'" Lorde recalled, adding, "Way cuteeeeeee."

Further confirming her past life, Taylor tweeted back a childhood photo of her and Austin, 23, on a tractor with their dad.

While Taylor is busy traveling for her 1989 tour, she seems to make time for her family. Her friend Jaime King called this out during her interview with ET.

Taylor is the godmother to the Hart of Dixie star's newborn son, Leo Thames.
"It's her loving, her profound, deep...loving and caring, sharing and that's the reason why I chose her," she told ET of why she chose Taylor to take on such a special role. "Just how much she loves him and cares about him and how much she cares about our family and how much I care about her, it's a really beautiful thing."
