Apparently Jennifer Lopez decided that her upcoming album needs a good breakup tune -- the "On the Floor" singer has decided to team up with Taylor Swift for one of her new tracks.
This unlikely pop pair appeared together last month when Lopez was Swift's guest performer during her last Red Tour concert. The singers are reportedly excited to work together again, but there aren't any details about their collaboration just yet. So we'll just assume that their song will be about how Juliet from the Block is never ever getting back together with her Romeo.
J-Lo and T-Swizzle definitely make an odd couple, but singers these days seem to love shaking things up with unexpected collaborations. Here's a look at few other singers who we could hear crooning together soon:
Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears
Last month producer Sean Garrett told Ryan Seacrest that Miley and Britney are teaming up for a tune that will appear on Miley's upcoming "Bangerz" album. Miley's been on a bit of a collaboration spree lately, teaming up with Kanye West on a "Black Skinhead" remix and paying homage to her favorite dance move by lending her voice to Lil Twist's "Twerk." Miley's love of booty shaking caught the attention of Britney back in June when the "Toxic" singer tweeted this to her fellow former Disney star: "Maybe you can teach me how to twerk sometime LOL."
Since Brit-Brit is currently working on a music video for her new song "Work B***h," we can only assume that Miley will want to give their collaboration the title "Twerk B***h." And if Miley does teach Britney how to twerk, let's just hope that the "I'm a Slave 4 U" singer returns the favor by teaching Miley how to keep her tongue in her mouth while she dances.
Wiz Khalifa and Adele
Wiz is yet another artist who is teaming up with Miley for an upcoming track, but it's his collaboration with Adele that's really intriguing. The "Black and Yellow" rapper could find himself rolling in the green when he teams up with the "Skyfall" singer, because she hasn't been heard from much after recording the theme song for the latest James Bond movie. Her collaboration with Wiz will be featured on the rapper's new album "Black Hollywood," which Wiz described to Vibe as being about "black attitude" and "Not giving a 'F' about anything." At least Wiz and Adele will have no problem bonding over their love of swearing.
Pharrell Williams and One Direction
Daft Punk collaborator Pharrell Williams is hoping to "Get Lucky" yet again by teaming up with British boy band stars Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. Pharrell recently told The Mirror this about his desire to work with 1D: "We are definitely talking. From what I've heard of their new stuff I'm pleasantly surprised. Their new stuff is definitely a progression and an elevation. I will hopefully be getting involved as we are definitely in talks." There will be no need for the "Blurred Lines" singer to dance around with female topless models again -- Zayn proved that he's pretty enough to be a video girl in One Direction's "Best Song Ever" music video.
So which of these collaborations are you looking forward to the most?
