‘Suicide Squad’: David Ayer Tweets Cast and Crew Photo on Final Day of Production

Warner Bros.’ “Suicide Squad” ended principal photography on Friday, and director David Ayer commemorated the event by posting a photo of the cast and crew on Twitter.

Stars Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne and Will Smith can be seen in the front row of the crowd. Many of the cast members appear in the photo in full costume and makeup, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Killer Croc in the pic and can be seen in his full getup on the far left.

The chairs in the bottom left corner of the photo are labeled with code name “Bravo 14” instead of “Suicide Squad,” used to keep the shoot under wraps.

“Suicide Squad” also stars Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis. Smith stars as Deadshot alongside Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Leto’s Joker and Courtney’s Captain Boomerang. The pic follows a band of supervillains hired for a dangerous mission by the government. If they succeed, their criminal records will be wiped clean.

“We are banging out something that is absolutely fantastic,” Smith promised at Comic-Con, saying Ayer’s vision is “the real deal.” The pic’s trailer debuted at Comic-Con to much fan excitement, ending with Leto’s Joker ominously saying, “I’m not going to kill you. I’m just going to hurt you really, really bad.”

The pic hits theaters Aug. 5, 2016.
