Simon Cowell Is Slightly Worried That Son Eric Might Start Barking

There’s a sentence we never thought we’d be writing.

Yep, with his ADORABLE 18-month-old son Eric continuing to grow into a mini-Simon Cowell, the music mogul has been discussing how the tot might talk when he reaches that stage, as Lauren Silverman is American while he is English.

Amglish? Enerican? We just don’t know, really.

However, it’s not the accent Eric might pick up that’s on the X Factor judge’s mind - it’s whether he might pick up a totally different language from a certain Squiddly and Diddly.

The 55-year-old told The Daily Star: “I have no idea what he is going to talk like, because his mum is American, I am English and a lot of the girls in my house are from the Phillipines.”

He THEN joked that Eric might turn into a dog: “He spends most of his time with Squiddly and Diddly. He is going to end up barking.”

AMAZING. A baby and a dog (sort of) swapping voices? There’s an edition of Freaky Friday we never stumbled across in Blockbusters.

He went on to add: “I can really see me in him now.”

Simon recently showed just how much of a mini-me Eric is becoming, tweeting a photo of his son rummaging through his dad’s wallet.

He captioned the photo: “Oh No! He is Dad’s little boy.”

Too. CUTE.

We’ll have to watch this space to see if Eric really does become the next Mowgli and, er, start barking.
