The weirdest possible romantic match has happened in Hollywood, y'all. Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra are reportedly dating.
Simon was spotted allegedly romancing the Playboy playmate in Los Angeles this past weekend at a cozy Italian restaurant in West Hollywood. The two ignited rumors of a possible fling earlier this year when Carmen appeared as a guest judge on "Britain's Got Talent."
"They were really into each other. At one point, they were talking real close, and he leaned in and kissed her. They started making out!" a witness at the restaurant said of the couple.
Although we're sort of confused by this match it isn't surprising to find a Playboy playmate on Simon's arm. The former "American Idol" judge is well known for canoodling with some of Hollywood's hottest stars. Who else has he been linked to?
Brazilian socialite Ana Paula Junqueira
Earlier this year Simon and Brazilian babe Ana were spotted getting cozy together one night at the St. Bart's yacht club. At the time they were trying to keep their alleged romance low key and out of the tabloids but after the couple were seen at a Chinese restaurant in London nothing more was heard of their supposed fling.
Paula and Simon were essentially the yin and yang of "American Idol." He was the mean one. She was the sweet one. Rumors spiraled for years these two were hooking up but both denied anything ever happened.
Simon said their relationship was like "The Exorcist 2" while Paula described the duo as "an old married couple without the sex." That's about all we need to know to realize they two were never a couple.
Australian pop star Dannii Minogue
Dannii and Simon were linked together between 2007-2010 during their time working together on "The X Factor." Neither have confirmed nor denied any involvement with each other romantically, although Dannii did comment on the biography of Simon being published that included speculation of their romance.
"I haven't read the book, but I've been told about the excerpts that relate to me, and the speculation about my private life. From what's been reported they put hundreds of hours into making this book, and Tom is a respected journalist. I'm sure it makes for a great read and I wish them all the best," she said.
Do you think Simon and Carmen would make a good couple?
