Russell Crowe And Joan Collins Lead Celebrity Tributes To Cilla Black

We were all left shocked earlier today when it was confirmed by Spanish police that TV icon, Cilla Black, had passed away aged 72.

Although autopsy results are yet to be revealed, it is believed that the singer and TV presenter died from “natural causes” in her Spanish home last night.

Needless to say, Cilla was a British treasure and after dominating our screens for decades, she touched the lives of many - including a whole load of celebs who have taken to their social media accounts to pay tribute to the star.

Among those include Hollywood A-Lister, Russell Crowe, who tweeted: “Thanks for everything Cilla. A loving life loved in the living of it”, and Joan Collins, who wrote: “I am so sad and shocked by news about my good friend Cilla. She was a resplendent and rare talent. RIP”.

Holly Willoughby, who took Cilla’s role in the recent reboot of her hit show ‘Surprise Surprise’, was also deeply saddened by the news, sharing: “So so sad to hear the news that we have lost one of my heroes, Cilla you were one incredible lady! Sending all my love to her family. X”
