Fassbender's New Big Role: After breakout roles in "X-Men: First Class," "Shame," "Haywire," and mostly recently in "Prometheus," Michael Fassbender has landed the lead in the big screen version "Assassin's Creed," based on Ubisoft's uber-popular videogame franchise. According to Variety, the time traveling action flick follows the story of a man who learns that he's connected to a secret group connected to the Knights Templar and his sent back in time to retrieve historical artifacts. It's not known if Fassbenber will play the film's lead, Desmond Miles, or possibly both Desmond and also an assassin (maybe fan favorite Ezio Auditore da Firenze?). The first two video games in the series span from the Crusades to the Renaissance and the upcoming third installment, which drops in October, will take place during the American Revolution.

The track drops on August 1 - you've been warned music lovers (and anyone who still has the ability to hear sounds)!
