Robert Pattinson has proved he's just like the rest of us. When he's trying to mend a broken heart he knows the best medicine is good drinks and even better friends.
The star has been spotted just outside of Reese Witherspoon's California ranch at a country-western bar called The Deer Lodge. Other people at the bar said Rob was seen laughing and drinking with friends, even going through five bottles of Jameson.
"He looked like a guy that was just trying to enjoy himself and get away . . . seems like a good kid!" one witness said.
We're stoked that Rob is slowly healing his broken heart after his longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart and "Twilight" co-star cheated on him. What else is this deliciously handsome actor up to?
In 2012 Rob will release two movies. First up, he'll star in "Cosmopolis," a film about a 28-year-old billionaire asset manager riding in a limo to get a haircut and the various cast of characters he runs into in one day that tear his world apart.
The film is based on a book by Don DeLillo and is directed by David Cronenberg. We're particularly excited about this one because Cronenberg is not only a talented director but we're always glad to see Rob break away from his "Twilight" role. "Cosmopolis" was given favorable reviews when it debuted at Cannes and appears to be Rob's best performance and role thus far in his career.
Aside from "Cosmopolis" Rob will, of course, star in the last edition of the "Twilight" saga, "Breaking Dawn Part 2." Although we're pretty big Twi-hards, we're hoping part two of the end of the saga is better than the first half. Maybe we'll even get some shirtless Rob action if we're lucky.
In 2013 Rob has another big movie year with two releases coming up. One including Guy Pearce set in a Western desert in Australia called, "The Rover" and another film called, "Mission: Blacklist" where Rob will play Eric Maddox, the man partly responsible for capturing Saddam Hussein.
Now that Rob has ended his relationship with Kristen he can move on to focusing more on his career, taking roles that will advance his place in Hollywood. It looks like Rob is already on the right path with the next few films set to release and once "Twilight" is over Rob can focus on his post-"Twilight" life.
Are you planning on seeing "Cosmopolis" this summer?
