During a taping of the new "Ricki Lake Show," Ricki debuted a jet-black bob with bangs. As it turns out, it was a wig.
As Ricki told the audience, "Any of you who grew up watching the old Ricki Lake, we're gonna throw something back to you circa 1994." Then, an audience member pulled off Ricki's wig and said, "you can keep the man, but not the wig."
This was a throwback to an incident on her old show when a woman snatched the wig off her man's mistress.
Ricki is not the only one trying out new hairstyles. Who else has been rocking the wigs lately?
This week on "Dancing With the Stars," Kirstie channeled her inner call girl by working that pole in a sultry jive. Although she earned an underwhelming score of 21, we loved the flapper-style black wig that she sported.
Paris is not afraid to admit that she's a huge fan of Miley Cyrus. When pundits criticized Miley's new short platinum-blonde hairdo, Paris defended her, tweeting, "i don't know why people keep hating on miley's new cut.. i love it !! shes being herself & shes being different & i love her for that !"
Last month on her new talk show, Katie decided to walk around New York City wearing a shoulder-length gray wig. As she explained, "More and more women these days are going gray and I decided I wanted to know what it felt like, at least on a temporary basis."
Who wore it better in the battle of the black wigs--Ricki or Kirstie? Does Paris look good with the Miley hairstyle? Could Katie pull off the gray hair?
