The network announced last year that the show would be switching from a single-camera format to a multi-camera comedy shot in front of a live studio audience, and later brought in Linda Wallem to replace showrunner Tucker Cawley. Creator Emily Spivey decided to leave the series before Applegate announced her departure last week.
Now, a planned one-episode reboot has been delayed and star Will Arnett is in talks to star in a new comedy being developed for CBS, THR reports. Rudolph reportedly told network executives that she and director Paul Thomas Anderson are expecting their fourth child together, and has also been courted by pilots that are in development, sources tell THR.
