Michael Jackson's family has moved from feud to full out civil war with separate warring factions. The ongoing fight which involves MJ's siblings, his beloved mother Katherine Jackson, and his children is akin to a Shakespearean tragedy. There are many sides to this rapidly evolving saga.
It seems as though the issue started when 82-year-old Katherine Jackson was "moved" from her home in California to Arizona. Of course, Katherine is an adult so she can go where she wants. This would generally be true except that she has custody of her minor grandchildren, Michael's daughter Paris Jackson along with her brothers Prince and Blanket. Apparently, Mrs. Jackson left without the grandchildren knowing that she was gone and has had no contact with them.
Paris has been tweeting up a storm about her missing Grandma. The firestorm escalated when she wrote, "Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven't spoken with her in a week; I want her home now." Then, a photo of a smiling Katherine playing Uno in Arizona with daughter Rebbie and others appeared. Soon after, a bizarre surveillance video surfaced showing what looked like Janet Jackson and Jermaine Jackson ambushing the kids and trying to take Paris' phone.
At the center of the fight is Michael's will, where he left all of his assets to his mother and children. It appears that there are two family groups. Randy Jackson is reportedly leading the charge against the executors of the Michael Jackson estate. He claims that the MJ will is false. Strangely, the usually vocal Joe Jackson and Latoya Jackson both seem to be out of this fight.
The other side of the drama includes an emotional Marlon Jackson and now brother Tito. Tito's married, adult son T.J. Jackson was just granted emergency custody of the kids. At one point he tweeted to Paris, "I know it's completely unfair for them to do this to you and your brothers. We will keep trying. I love you."
The public has had a direct window into the personal family fight with Paris' twitter stream. Most surprising is the fact that Janet is front and center in this drama. The "Control" singer has always seemed above the family fray. At the time of this writing, Grandmother Katherine is supposedly soon to be home in California. A judge just suspended her guardianship, however.
So what has Paris been tweeting that has the entire Jacko clan in a tizzy? Take a look at her most explosive tweets:
Paris says: "The same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother... just saying."
Paris says: "If anybody sees my grandmother , please call the authorities or this number- (818)-876-0186 it's the security number .. thank you so much."
Paris says: "8 days and counting . something is really off , this isn't like her at all .. i wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!<|3"
Paris says: "9 days and counting… so help me god i will make whoever did this pay."
Paris says: "A lot of ppl have been saying that i "changed" …i wanna apologize for the attitude… there's just a lot going on… i promise: the ego = gone(:"
Paris says, "wtf tho."
Fans seem firmly on the side of Team Paris with one of them writing, "If you have a problem with Paris' tweets, you can unfollow her. So simple." The tragic family drama, sadly, seems to be just beginning. One can only imagine what the King of Pop might think of this mess.
So, what do you think? Are you Team Paris, Team Janet, Team Randy or Team Marlon? Is this about money or something else?
