Nick Gordon Blames Drugs for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Bathtub Incident: ‘She Just Did Too Much’ (Report)

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, reportedly claims drug abuse is to blame for her precarious medical condition.

“I’ll tell you the honest truth, Krissy, she was under a lot of stress and we were all doing drugs and you know, all, all drinking,” Gordon says in a telephone call obtained by TMZ. Gordon was reportedly unaware that he was being recorded, but since Georgia is a one-party state, the audio was taped legally.

It’s unclear who he was talking to. In a transcript published early Sunday, TMZ would only say the call was taped by “a member of Bobby Brown‘s family” and that the conversation was recorded on February 21, three weeks after Brown fell ill.

“She just did too much man,” Gordon reportedly said. “She, listen, listen bro. I will officially stay from bathtubs forever, I’ll tell you that.”

During the call, Gordon also blasted everyone who believes he had something to do with the incident.

“When Krissy wakes up, she’ll tell the truth to everybody,” Gordon insisted. “Everybody will feel stupid as f*ck. You know Krissy got in an accident two days before this happened.” He continued, “If they take her off that life support, the police are going to have to take me down bro.”

Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found face-down and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home on Jan. 31. After hospital and rehabilitation stays, she was transferred to hospice care last month. In April, her grandmother, Cissy Houston, said Bobbi Kristina had suffered “global and irreversible brain damage.”

After the 22-year-old celebrity offspring was placed in hospice care, the case was turned over to the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, which is “reviewing the case with greater interest.”

Meanwhile, in a column this weekend in British paper The Mail On Sunday, Ian Halperin, author of “Whitney & Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame,” made more shocking claims about Bobbi Kristina’s alleged drug use.

“Police sources tell me the eventual autopsy report is expected to show significant amounts of heroin and a cocktail of other drugs such as Xanax in her system,” Halperin wrote in the article.
