Netflix’s ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’ Adds Jessica Pohly

Jessica Pohly has joined the cast of Netflix’s “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday” as the leader of a gang of bank robbers, Variety has learned exclusively.

It’s Pohly’s first feature part after originating roles with playwrights such as Adam Rapp and Adam Szymkowicz, and touring nationally with the American Shakespeare Center. She’s appeared on “Modern Family,” “Stalker,” “Rake” and “Super Fun Night.”

Joe Manganiello recently joined the cast. Netflix will premiere “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday,” starring Paul Reubens as the titular character, exclusively in all of its territories.

The film is being produced by Judd Apatow and Reubens. “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday” is helmed by John Lee (“Broad City,” “Inside Amy Schumer”) from a script by Reubens and Paul Rust, following Pee-wee as he takes his first holiday.

Pohly is represented by Schumacher Management.
